First of all, EXPECT unpopular opinions here, be prepared. I'll have to warn for this one for like... almost all her albums LOL, but this one does have a certain favourite kind of lower... But anyway, Speak Now. I absolutely adore this album, before 2017, this was my FAVE Taylor album. Sadly it's dropped at like #4 but it's still that bitch truly. It's aged well for most of the part, and she truly did that - writing the whole album by HERSELF at the age of 19. And a great album, too! Whew... Taylor deserves the respect and success, she does. Anyway don't go crazy pls!

17. Dear John - Unpopular opinion probably but... This one is actually not a fave of mine. First of all John Meyer is kinda gross so the thought of him icks me out, second of all this song goes for TOO long (girl, the chorus starts at like 1:47)... But I mean, it's deff not a bad one, but I don't think it's "all that" like a lot of fans like to think.
16. Never Grow Up - Honestly the only reason this one is higher than Dear John is because of its cute ass chorus (and the harmonies/vocals in the outro). Otherwise it'd be dead last, even though I appreciate the message and the cuteness!
15. If This Was a Movie - It's a nice song, nothing I play often but it's a nice one. Random at how it entered top 10 in Billboard Hot 100 though??
14. Ours - Ugh this is such a cute one. I remember watching its video for the first time and what a nice impression I got from Taylor in general. It does pain me to put this one a bit lower but this album is strong!
13. Superman - Honestly this one is so underrated, that chorus is absolutely great! I don't play this as often but I should... (and the better "super" song, glares at Superstar)
12. Mine - I remember how this was easily in my top 5 of this album like 5-6 years ago. But tbh other songs have grown on me so this has kind of sunk, but I still LOVE this iconic single, especially that chorus!
11. Enchanted - Unpopular opinion alert LMFAO... Chile the way some of y'all will DRAG me for this but idc! Ok so like I'm so conflicted - I did love this song back when I first heard it, but there was a period where I REALLY really got tired of it, and I was so sick of everyone overrating the fuck out of it. But I mean... I'm listening to it right now, I GET IT, I love the beautiful instrumental, I love the details, I love that epic chorus.. But something about it bothers me sometimes, and the fact that it's so so loved by everyone and their mother just doesn't help LOL (I tend to hate "overly-loved-songs-that-I-don't-stan" jsyk x)
10. Speak Now - Oh this one was another one that was an early fave of mine! And as much as I still love it, I feel like what TRULY makes this song is its iconic lyrical content.
9. Last Kiss - Girl, I can't believe I used to dislike this one back then... Probably because it's a slow + long song, but this one is so SO beautiful... I just love listening to all 6 minutes of this one, it truly puts me in a peaceful trance, even if the song is so heartbreaking and sad.
8. Sparks Fly - I've always like this one but whew, the way I've been LOVING this one lately... It's such an amazing and epic song, I love the drop into the chorus, that bridge is SO good too. It's really a song that gets stuck in your head!
7. Long Live - God I LOVE this song!! Ugh I wish I could put it higher but this album is STACKED... This is such a perfect closing to the standard edition, and it's such an iconic song.
6. Back to December - I'm glad this one is considered a fan fave, because this is truly a gem. I've loved this since the first time I heard it, it's so magical and somber ugh!! And yes, ANOTHER amazing bridge, she almost gets me at the end of that one there...
5. The Story of Us - Honestly one of her first non-country songs? But yeah I just LOVE this one. The "next chapter" and "the end"? Iconic!
4. Innocent - Ugh this song is SO beautifully composed. Vocals, melodies, bridge, lyrics, all the details... I love this so much, I wish it was more appreciated by fans... Imagine being 19 and writing such a mature and beautiful song about some manchild who tried to steal your spotlight. Taylor won, she did. And y'all obsessed haters can stay mad.
3. Better Than Revenge - Should I regret putting this so high?... Probably, but I won't! I mean COME ON, all these iconic lines - "HA! Time for a little revenge", "She took him faster than you could say sabotage"... and honestly, as petty and messy this song's "situation"/lyrics may be, I personally love it, I have to! It's so angry, energetic and FUN. Ugh, I do play this when I get a bit more angry, I do...
2. Mean - Some people love this, some people hate this... and I'm from the former! This song is a BOP, I love the sass, I love her calling her critics/haters out, and what she stated in the song? Aged well. Idk this song is kinda flawless methinks! And I do think I could dedicate this song to some of y'all...
1. Haunted - YES, give me Evanescence queen! Let me tell y'all about this masterpiece... This has been my favourite on the album since first listen, and hasn't budged since! I love how dramatic and vulnerable it is, I love the imagery... Just everything about this song.
