So I'm starting out my discography ranking series of miss Swift, and we're starting chronologically with TS1! It's definitely my least favourite album of hers, and definitely the one I play the least. It's still a cute album though, especially for a country one.
------
14. Stay Beautiful - Now THIS is where I don't like Taylor lyrically, for once. To me this song is so cheesy and bleh, and the chorus is just not IT. I don't use this at all
13. Mary's Song (Oh My My My) - I don't really care for this song. It's not as bad as I remember it being but it's... nothing I use
12. Tied Together With a Smile - Ugh not a fan of this one, vocally it's kinda weak, and the instrumentation is TOO yee-haw for me.. I can appreciate the message behind the song ig
11. Cold as You - To be honest this one starts out kind of beautifully but as soon as that guitar comes in, it kinda ruins the "clean"/beautiful sound of the song. I feel like this one is a "secret" fan fave but it's kinda just ok for me.
10. Invisible - This one has it's cute moments, e.g. I like the "beautiful miracle, unbelievable, instead of just invisible" part. But this DEFINITELY needs to be improved both instrumentally and vocally.
9. Tim McGraw - Although this one is iconic for being her first single, I think the best part would probably be the chorus. It's a cute little country song though!
8. A Perfectly Good Heart - I actually like this one, idk why some fans think it's one of her worst songs ever :( It's so cute and has a nice melody, and I even like how the bg vocals/harmonies are. It just needs to be "improved"!
7. Our Song - This is such an iconic and cute song. But I kind of used to love it more back then? Still a bop though.
6. I'm Only Me When I'm With You - This song is SO uptempo and cute, I kinda love it actually! It did take me aback at first because of how pop-rocky it started though, I was shook! And is it only me that thinks her voice sounds WAY different here for some reason? Like it doesn't sound like Taylor singing it o_o
5. Teardrops on My Guitar - Ugh this song is so beautiful, I didn't use to care for it because #slowsongs but it's actually such a pretty one, and it has that nostalgic melody to it... (I also enjoy the pop version tbh)
4. The Outside - Such a great time truly, I love this song, I tend to not think about it enough tbh... and it's a song I can relate to lyrically too!
3. Picture to Burn - This one is still a fun vengeful BANGER after all these years! Probably the first Taylor song I truly liked during her country days
2. Should've Said No - We LOVE angry Taylor! At least I do... What do I say about this, it's just so iconic and GOOD that it doesn't need explanation why it's this high. That chorus is everything.
1. A Place in This World - U N D E R R A T E D. This song is actually so amazing, that chorus and her head voice sound SO beautiful, imagine that kind of vocal talent at the age of.. 15-16? Queen. Stop insulting her vocals HATERS, they're amazing! Also - I cannot wait to hear this one rerecorded so so much. Do NOT sleep on this one.

etaco75 idk, I've listened to the song like 3-4 times and there's always something missing for me. Maybe the rerecording would spark something within tbh
