We are on All Stars 1 which is a terrible season and doesnt have the best or most memorable lip syncs but i will rank them anyways...all 6 of them!
#6. Mimi Imfurst vs. Chad Michaels - Opposites Attract by Paula Abdul
This lip sync is so boring. Like both are ok but it just goes no where. From Mimi's terrible costume change to Mimi just getting all up in Chad's space (which shows she learned nothing from her last lip sync). It's just meh. Chad doesn't really do any better either except for pushing Mimi out of the way. Meh
#5. Manila Luzon vs. Jujubee - Nasty by Janet Jackson
Uhm this one is interesting! It's pretty well known for how terrible Manila's cross eyed shtick goes but like she was doing a ok job before that? Same with Jujubee she is just good at lip syncing! I think where this fails for me it just feels overall lackluster? Like it's Janet Jackson! Put the energy into it and I don't really think either do it although both aren't known for their insane dance things. I don't know just eh.
#4. Raven vs. Chad Michaels - [REDACTED] by RuPaul
This song...honestly sounds great but my god the material has not aged well at all and it puts a damper on the song. The lip sync is ok! Chad puts on her professional hat and does what she normally does for every lip sync and Raven turns the sexy pop star notch up to 11. I like Raven in this lip sync more than Chad but...Chad about to die so Ru wanted her to be happy.
#3. Alexis Mateo & Yara Sofia vs. Raven - Don't Cha by The Pussycat Dolls
I actually really like this lip sync even though it's kind of a mess. I just really like the song and both Alexis and Raven were turning it out! Raven once again amps up the sex while Alexis has a more controlled like "im better than you mentality" and is definitely destroying the lip sync...until Yara shows up and is like bitch please. She just didn't need to do that because Alexis was winning and it was the wrong time. I do love how the lyrics are in that moment "Fight the feeling...leave it alone" and she does it right there...so good.
#2. Tammie Brown vs. Latrice Royale - There's No Business Like Show Business - Ethel Merman
This lip sync is pretty underrated to be honest! Maybe cause it feels like such an out of place song especially for the time but it's really well done! This lip sync is right up Tammie's alley and it's so good. But you just can't match up against Latrice's soul. The way she just annihilates that end with the showtune-esque performance is just so good. I don't revisit this one often but when I do im always in for a good time!
#1. Raven vs, Jujubee - Dancing On My Own by Robyn
i mean obviously...this lip sync is such a moment and aside from like the first episode of untucked, is the only like iconic moment to come from this season. I just love that they are both just like so not interested in this lip sync and are both like on the verge of bawling. it's so entertaining and also like damn it gets you a bit! These two have been friends for a couple years and it's clear here. I also just like the song it is so fitting for this lip sync. it is a moment I stan.
