"Mommy, can I get this dress. It's pretty" a young girl said to her mother. "Summer, orange isn't your colour" the mother replied. The two were dress shopping for Summer' as she had a birthday party to go to in two days and dresses were on special today. Summer's mum was flipping through the dresses on a rack and pulled one out. "Hey, this blue one looks better on you, blue's more your colour sweetie!" Summer's mother said to her. "I don't want to out on that, I like the orange one!" Summer yelled, frustrated. "Summer. Put on the blue dress. Now!" Summer's mother said, her tone instantly changed and became aggressive, knowing how Summer throws embarrassing tantrums when she doesn't get her way. "No!" Summer snapped. Summer's mother grabbed her arm tightly and looked Summer dead in her eyes, inches away from Summer. "Go. Put. The dress on" Summer's mother said coldly and quietly. Summer grew cross with her mother, but snatched the blue dress from her hands and walked into the changing room, muttering "I hate you mummy" to herself.
"Omg Iona, that security officer is so hot! I'd let him search me anyday" Shae said to her friends Iona and Yvette, as they were spying on him as the girls were eating from the McDonald's, ditching school. "He's bangable, but I'm not looking for fuckboys at the moment" Iona said. Iona noticed the name tag "Officer Knott" on his uniform. "How's Tinder going, how did the date go with the ginger hunk with the arm tattoo?" Shae said to Iona, who looked sad. Iona's heart started pounding in fear thinking of that guy. Everything seemed to be going so well, until he drugged her and took her to his place where he stripped her naked and raped her. Lona was weak but conscious. Iona knew in her heart she couldn't open up to them, she didn't even tell this to her sister, it was too embarrassing to say. "He seemed pretty stupid, not my type" Iona lied. "He seemed alright in the text messages tho, you two seemed to be hitting it off. Did you get to third base?" Yvette asked.
Iona looked down at her milkshake and moved the straw in her milkshake around with her finger. "Uh, no, we just talked. Like I said, not my type" Iona lied again. Yvette could tell something was up, but Shae was completely unaware. "I'd totally grab that security officer, take him into a bathroom and just go at it" Shae said. "Holy shit Shae keep it in your pants, slut!" Yvette said playfully. "Oh come on! You two wouldn't ride that guy?" Shae asked her friends. "I mean yeah but I'm not so vocal about it!" Yvette agreed. Yvette looked at Iona. "Iona? You okay?" she asked calmly. Iona got out of her seat and quickly walked off, trying her hardest to hold back tears. Iona went into the bathroom and went into a stall. She was still in pain from him forcing himself inside of her. How he didn't use protection or didn't pull out, just came inside of her. Iona started crying. "I might be pregnant with a rapist's child" she said out loud, but no one was in the bathroom to comfort her. Yvette and Shae decided it was better for her to just let it out, whatever Iona was going through.
"You want the promotion or not, Garnet?" Mr Tavv said to Officer Garnet. The pair were in Mr Tavv's office, with the door locked. Officer Garnet had tears softly go down her face as she took off her uniform, only revealing some hot pink coloured bra and panties. The blonde felt so scared and vulnerable. "Come sit on my lap Garnet" Mr Tavv said as he unzipped his pants and pushed them to his ankles. She shakenly walked around the desk and saw his hard package. "Sit on my lap Garnet, otherwise you're fired" Mr Tavv said, raising his voice. Officer Garnet had heard rumours of Mr Tavv, the owner of the mall, to be a little sexual harassment to female employees, but never thought she'd have to be forced to have sex with him to keep his job. Garnet sat on his lap, legs clenched closed together. "Sweetie you don't need to wear those" Mr Tavv said and with one quick pull, tore Garnet's panties into two. "Just let it happen sweetie" Mr Tavv said and grabbed her legs and pulled them apart. "Knott's taking your shift, said you were feeling sick, no one knows we're in here" Mr Tavv added and Officer Garnet started crying.
Jessica was in the jewellery store, holding in her hand her fianc茅e's credit card. Her eyes caught a diamond necklace, it was small diamonds but it sure costed a lot. Jessica smiled and tapped her finger on the credit card. Her fianc茅e Bret had no clue she was embezzling money Bret earned in his job. She handled the financial stuff, making it easier to do her dirty work. An officer walked up to Jessica. "Are you alright?" Officer Knott asked. "Yeah, just looking at this nice necklace" Jessica said, still eyeing the necklace. "I'm Jessica by the way" Jessica said, turning and facing Officer Knott. Knott was more attractive than Jessica realised. "I'm a security officer who is making sure you weren't going to try steal from this place, recently there's been a fair amount of inventory going missing" Officer Knott revealed. "It could be someone who works there, don't always assume the thief is a customer" Jessica stated. "Just trying to do my job" Knott added. Jessica and Officer Knott heard a bunch of police cars speed past the mall, followed by some ambulances. "I wonder whats that about?" Jessica asked Officer Knott.
"The wedding is next week Caleb. We need to shop now before it's too late" Caleb's father said. Caleb looked at the tuxedo, black and white, basic, plain, timeless. "It'll look great on you, go try it out" Caleb's mother, Alyssa, added. "Alice what are you doing?" Caleb's father asked, who saw his mother-in-law and Caleb's grandmother walking outside. "I'm bored and hungry" she snapped and walked off. Caleb walked into the changing rooms and Alice came back. "Somethings wrong, I just saw a security officer take out a gun" Alice said in panic. "A robbery? Should we hide?" Alyssa asked. "Don't be such a pussy" Caleb's father said. Alice slapped Caleb's father. "Don't say that to my daughter and your wife!" Alice shouted. Caleb's father went silent, but didn't like Alice making him feel like he wasn't the dominant one. "Good thing your on your last legs woman" Caleb's father muttered. "I beg your motherfucking pardon?" Alice snapped back instantly. "You heard me" Caleb's father replied. "Don't you dare speak to my mother like that. Get in the car I don't wanna see you right now!" Alyssa said, defending her mother. "Fuck the pair of yous, I need a beer" Caleb's father said and walked off.
Suddenly a siren went off in the mall, and people started to get scared as they feared a robbery or shooting. Caleb's father walked out the doors to see carnage in the streets. A little girl was clawing at an elderly woman and the woman was screaming. "Hey!" Caleb's father shouted. The little girl turned around and snarled at Caleb's father, but Caleb's father was ambushed by another person, who grabbed him and bit his ear off, blood pouring down his face. Walkers were being attracted by the elderly woman and Caleb's father's screaming. Police were trying to shoot them down but some were being eaten alive.
It was insane how quickly the walkers spread for such slow undead creatures. Within minutes at least twenty walkers had entered the mall. Most people sealed their fate by trying to leave, only to realise how dangerous it was in the streets, most didn't get to the end of the street.
Summer is wearing the blue dress that she hates so much. Summer and her mother are hiding in the clothing store with Caleb, Alyssa and Alice. "Where's dad?" Caleb asked his mother, Alyssa. Summer unlocks the door, but two walkers enter the store. Summer goes into shock when she sees one of the walkers, a teenage girl with no lips and skin that looked leathery, and a piece was missing, showing the woman's skull. Summer snapped out of her shock and quickly ran back into the changing room and locked it, sealing herself in. Alice screamed and Alyssa grabbed a rack and pushed it over, the rack falling onto the two walkers. "We need to find dad!" Caleb said. Summer's mother was banging on the changing room "Summer open up!", but Summer was curled up in the corner listening to the horrific sounds.
Another walker entered the store, and walked towards Alice, Alyssa and Caleb. "Shit, let's move" Alyssa said. "Those fucking bastards making me walk, ugh" Alice groaned and the three hid in the changing room and locked it behind them. Summer's mother turned around, the walker was now coming towards her. "SUMMER OPEN THE FUCK UP!" she slammed her hand on the door, hurting her hand. She looked at the crushed walkers, the teenage walker had her chest up free, and the rest was stuck, the other walker's skull was splattered. "FUCK YOU SUMMER!" Summer's mother screamed at her daughter, and went around the store avoiding the walker coming at her, when the teenage walker grabbed Summer's mothers ankle and she tripped over. "GET OFF UNDEAD WHORE!" Summer's mother screamed, showing her true colours. The walker that was walking grabbed Summer's mother and took a bite out of the side of her back. "FUCKKKK!" Summer's mother screamed. Summer was crying alone with her hands on her ears, curled up in the blue dress. Summer's mother kept screaming in pain and anger and her daughter was too scared to save her life. Summer's cowardliness caused her mother to die.
The alarm was going off, and after Mr Tavv finished with Officer Garnet, he ripped the duct tape off her mouth and pushed her to the ground. "Tight, would love to do this again" he grinned. As he was putting his underwear on, he look at the security cameras, seeing walkers eating people and people running around in panic. "What the fuck?" Mr Tavv said, on alert, and rushed over to the window on the second story which looks at the mall from above. "Holy fuck!" Mr Tavv said, he quickly put on the rest of the clothing and used the emergency lockdown button, and the sensory entrance doors stay locked. Officer Garnet lay on the ground, crying. Mr Tavv got a key from under his mousepad and unlocked a special draw, containing 5 handguns with full magazines and more ammunition. Mr Tavv grabbed all 5 and tossed one to Officer Garnet. "His this as protection" and he left. Officer Garnet looked at the gun, and turned the safety off, before contemplating suicide after literally just being raped.
A woman opens up the door for the clothing store and let's herself and her grandmother in. "They're dead!" Margaery said to her grandmother, Ofelia. "We need weapons if we're gonna get out of this" Ofelia said, scanning the room. Ofelia sees Summer's mother being torn to pieces by the time they enter the store. "We have to kill it" Ofelia said.
Ofelia moves like she's in her late 30's, yet she is 72 and healthy and an intelligent elder. Her granddaughter Margaery is 32, and less than a minute ago, Margaery's brother and grandfather were seen being eaten alive by a group of walkers. Ofelia then spots the walkers that are trapped under the rack. "There's no weapons here at all!" Margaery says. Ofelia pushes another rack onto the floor, and then she walks over to it and violently removes the bar in the middle of the rack. It wasn't deadly enough to kill a walker as the metal bar was hollow, but good enough to get it onto the ground. Ofelia hands the metal bar to Margaery who quickly walks up to the walker eating Summer's mother and whacks it in the head. It's neck snaps but it still moves, and it's coming towards Margaery. Ofelia goes behind it and kicks it behind the knee and it falls over, where Ofelia impales the metal rod through the walker's skull. Then Ofelia and Margaery hear a little girl crying from the changing room stalls.
When the alarm started, Iona left the bathroom, quickly wiping away her tears and runs to see Shae and Ivette. "There's monster things coming from the entrance, we need to get to the office on the first floor, that's the best place to go!" Ivette said. Iona was skeptical at first but once she left the bathroom and saw the mayhem, she was convinced instantly. "What the fuck is going on?" Iona said, running and dodging walkers left and right with her best friends in front of her. "We don't know, just that the monsters started eating people" Shae said. Shae opened up the door to the stairway and Iona went though. Ivette saw the escalator, which was completely empty and no walkers were going onto it. "Ivette come on!" Shae said, still holding the door. "Meet me up there!" Ivette said and ran off. "That BITCH!" Shae said, slamming the door shut.
Shae and Iona ran up the stairway from the ground floor to the first floor, and luckily no walkers were in their path. Shae quickly held the door. "Wait...let's catch our breath" Shae said. The pair got their breath back for about 5 seconds before Shae opening the door and the pair ran towards the top of the escalator.
Ivette was running up the escalator where two walkers started coming down the escalator, but because it was going up they were just staying at the top of the escalator. "Oh shit" Ivette said, and turned around to run down the escalator, when about five more walkers started coming up the escalator, trapping Ivette.
Shae and Iona get to the top when they see Ivette trapped. "IVETTE!" Iona cried out. Ivette looked at Shae and Iona, who were on the first floor. "HELP!" Ivette yelled at her friends, the walkers at the bottom getting closer and closer. Shae and Iona had no idea what to do. "JUMP THE TAKE THE STAIRS" Shae yelled in reply. Ivette looked down, it would either injure her from her height, or hurt her enough for walkers to tear her to shreds. Suddenly a walker grabs onto her, and in a quick response Ivette quickly pulled back and pushed the walker off the escalator onto the ground floor. The walker landed on it's feet and it's legs completely snap off and a black red blood oozes from it's wounds. Another walker grabs Ivette but has a tighter grip on Ivette than the last, and holds it long enough for the walkers at the top to grab her and they bite her shoulder and back. Ivette lets out a bloodcurdling scream, and Shae and Iona stare wide eyed. "Don't look" Iona said, and looks away. Shae falls onto her knees and starts crying. Ivette panics and elbows a walker from the top in the jaw, completely unhinging it, the walker's tongue exposed. Other walkers on the escalator take a bite out of her, and Ivette freaks out and falls off the escalator, landing on her back, where other walkers wait below to eat her alive.
Shae and Iona quickly run towards the office, where Mr Tavv is just leaving. "Follow me girls" Mr Tavv says, holding pistols in his hands, and hands one to Iona and one to Shae. "You girls know how to use those?" Mr Tavv asked. "Yeah, not legally though" Iona replied, tears blurring her eyes but she wipes her eyes and sniffs, before turning the safety off. The three move around the first floor, shooting all walkers they see. Mr Tavv tells everyone they see to meet at the clothing store, and he goes off down the escalator shooting walkers as he descends.
Iona and Shae enter the store, seeing Margaery, Ofelia, Summer, Caleb, Alyssa and Alice. Summer's mother has a jacket covering her body. "Who are you?" Alyssa asked Iona and Shae. "I'm Iona, this is my best friend Shae. We are here to protect you. Do any of you know what's going on?" Iona asks. Everyone shakes their head. "Where did you get those guns?" Alice asked. "From Mr Tavv, the owner of the mall. He's locked us in here but once all those monsters are dead we'll be safe" Iona added. "Mr Tavv said for everyone to stay in here, get all the survivors together" Shae added.
Mr Tavv was in the jewellery store, where he gives a spare gun to Officer Knott. "We need to kill those bastards. Knott, take this woman to the clothing store on first floor, I'm gonna take as many out as I can" Mr Tavv ordered. "Okay boss" Officer Knott replied, and the three split off.
Officer Garnet had all her clothes on, she decided it wasn't her fault she was raped, and suicide wasn't the answer, shooting and killing her boss, Mr Tavv, was the right answer. Officer Garnet looked at the security cameras, seeing Mr Tavv on the first floor shooting the walkers, and a group of people in the clothing store. "There's so many women in the store and a little kid, oh god" Officer Garnet said, fearing they were going to be future victims of Mr Tavv. Officer Garnet starts to rush out the door, gun in hand, but she slips on the used condom on the ground. The pistol goes off, and she lands on her stomach and chest. She notices blood on the floor dripping from her body.
She sits up and sees that she accidentally shot herself in the leg, in a main artery. "No. No no no!" Officer Garnet says and tries to stand up, but blood pours out of her leg. She tries to stand up but she can't apply any pressure on her leg. "Oh god no" she says, a first aid box on the wall, she slides over and tries to reach it but can't, so she tries to sit on the chair but she grows too weak. "Please help!" she whimpers as she lays in her own blood and her rapist's condom. Within minutes she bleeds out and lays on the floor dead.
Officer Knott and Jessica join the rest of the people in the clothing store, they found a woman named Brandi, a 21 year old girl who is quite the flirt. Slowly more people come in the clothing store, obviously instructed too by Mr Tavv as he goes around the store rounding up survivors as he kills all the walkers in the building. A technician who was in the back room, Levi, two girls named Dinah and Virginia, and lastly a 45 year old loner man named Greg. Soon Mr Tavv returned, informing he's checked all the rooms in the mall and that all walkers have died. "We need to gather food, water and places to sleep while we wait, the military will come and kill the rest of those things up" Mr Tavv announced. Brandi looked at Summer. "Pretty dress, it's really your colour" Brandi said, complementing Summer to try make her feel better. Summer was just overwhelmed with emotions. "Thank you, I love this dress" Summer lied.
Officer Garnet lays dead in a pool of blood. Security cameras show no walkers still alive, all shot dead by Mr Tavv. Lots of people are exploring different stores, gathering food, water, comfort and potential weapons. A couple of people are cleaning the floors of blood and moving the bodies. No one has a clue that Mr Tavv literally raped a coworker and everyone thinks he's a hero.
Officer Garnet's eyes snap open, showing a milky white colour with bloodshot eyes.

(I know it's been forever since I released Episode 2, but I was nervous with the rape scene, but I do want Mr Tavv to be portrayed in that way, and that eventually moves their storyline along. I hope you enjoy and please plus!)
Ive been so excited for this episode. May have been forever but it was worth it! Loved the introductions to the characters, even though Mr. Tavv's introduction as extremely dark.And the "Officer Garnet's eyes snap open, showing a milky white colour with bloodshot eyes." low-key my fav part of the epiosde. Awesome episode, so excited for episode 4.

Did you like this introduction to the apocalypse: Yeah, this felt like you put a lot of effort to properly introduce a lot of characters. Although the characters Brandi, Greg, Levi, Dinah, and Virginia kind of got pushed aside, I understand why you had to do it. The cast in this group is quite large, especially with the inclusion of all the minor characters.
Any storylines you think will happen within this group: Mr. Tavv is most likely going to get serious karma from zombified officer Garnet. Also, for some reason, I feel like Shae will last a while despite not being anyone's character. I feel like a lot of Iona's initial development will be lost if Shae dies.
Any hookups with any characters introduced to happen: No obvious hook-ups here, all the girls are just hitting on Officer Knott who is bound to not last long so um... RIP.
Favourite 3 characters introduced in this episode: Summer, Iona, Alice (I just realized almost no guys got focus this episode)
Best Death Scene of the episode: The unnamed elderly woman being mauled by the little girl. She was a robbed icon.
Areas of improvement: I think each of these episodes are getting better. All I can say is don't hold back with what you have to right. I get that you might feel uncomfortable adding things like the rape scene, but if you feel like it's right for the story then add it in. We're all mature of enough of an audience to not be offended by you including it.
