Night 3 Battles Notes:

1. I'm really not enjoying this season too much so far D: honestly there aren't that many GREAT artists so far...I'm hoping it gets better.
2. I absolutely LOVE Brandi Carlile and I think that Betsy and Lisa did a great job w/ The Joke! I really loved their voices together, but I think Lisa was definitely the standout here.
3. Rebecca and David were good as well. I wish David had more of a part in that performance, because his voice fit that song so well...although he needs to work a bit on his breathing. Other than that, I really liked it.
4. Kalvin and Jimmy were good, but the voice hyped up their performance way too much lmao like I thought it was good, and actually better than i expected, but not as good as they wanted to make it seem. Jimmy definitely sounds a bit like Justin Timberlake.
5. Mari and Anthony were kinda of weird together lmao idk it felt like 2 solo performances together. Idk how to feel about it, but I thought they both sounded fine separately. Anthony has a cool voice, but he doesn't have like any range lol.
6. Jacob and Talon weren't bad. I think Jacob's voice is kind of meh and boring, and I actually liked Talon's voice better, even tho Talon messed up a few times. Overall I thought it was an okay battle.
7. The other 2 battles were boring.

I think Talon should've won the battle however I understand why he wasn't picked. He had the upper hand up until that voice crack which was brutal
