Night 2 Battles Notes:

1. Ugh I should've known that since the first 3 battles were really good for night 1, that we'd have a shitty night 2 :(
2. First off, the song choices were atrocious for most of theses???? Wtf is going on...
3. Kymberli vs. OneUp was the only memorable battle of the night tbh, and it was still a little off imo. I could've thought of so many other songs that would've fit that battle better. Anyways, aside from a weird arrangement, they both did really well. I thought Kymberli's voice was a bit weird for the song, but the 2nd half of the battle was really good for her. OneUp had a couple shaky moments, BUT their voices together sound so god damn good, I couldn't keep my attention off of them. I can't fucking believe Natasia and Anthony were stolen over them lmaooo.
4. Mike and Natasia were better than I thought they'd be, but it was still underwhelming. Natasia's voice is annoying to me, but Mike really came out and shocked me. His voice was really good here.
5. Why the fuck did we get 4 shortened performances and only 2 full performances? LMAO The Voice is in shambles these days between their formatting and their YouTube account. RIP. They just need to cancel the show so I don't have to make these damn blogs anymore haha jk I enjoy making these, even if they are a chore lol.
6. I like Katrina's voice better than Rachels, but I thought Rachel's voice was better here.
7. Steve and Anthony were better than what people are giving them credit for, but I am still shocked that Anthony got stolen? lmao but he's a 15 year old folk singing boy with long hair...sound familiar? It's like 1 of 3 human formulas needed to make it to the lives.
8. People are shook that Mercedes is gone, but I never found her that good. I rewatched her audition a few times, thinking I missed something, but the only thing missing now is her from the show, so bye! On the other hand, I really didn't care who won that battle lmao.
9. Jarred looked so fucking awkward on stage singing LMAO I still can't stop thinking of the Youtuber who said he looked like handsome squidward xD I'm kinda glad their battle was shortened tho, because it sounded awful lmao.
10. Hopefully next week is better lmao.

Britishromeo17 I know my opinion is fairly unpopular when it comes to Mercedes. Tbh, I'm not saying she's bad or anything, especially considering so many people liked her...but I am just so curious about what people see that's really good in her? LOL I thought she was average.
RobbieRIOT ummmm excuse me, one can recognize that someone has a talented voice, but still not like it...unless I'm wrong?
Natasia, to me, is someone that has a really special voice when she's being flashy with it, but her natural singing voice seems strained/nasally to me at times.
so calm down and don't get so worked up over 1 small difference in opinions. My opinions are subject to change on artists as well, it's happened before, and it bound to happen again throughout the competition. Hope you enjoy my blogs in the future if you're not already too upset to return!
Britishromeo17 oh for sure. Very rarely do I think someone on The Voice has a bad voice. Most of the people that I don't like on the show are people who I think are extremely average compared to the other competitors. Mercedes, in my opinion, falls in the range of above average, but not high enough for me to root for.
