Iman Farah.

Wentworth has a tendency to add seemingly defenseless girls to the prison for no more than 3-4 episode. Examples include the Asian girl in season 2, the girl who had her head shaved, etc. That’s what I thought Iman was going to be. When she stood her ground against Juice for the first time, I thought maybe she was actually here to stay. Her and Franky had a good friendship going, but then it was revealed the bitch was psycho. She ended up being in love with crazy guy who stalked Franky and just wanted revenge. I didn’t necessarily hate her like the people below her, but her low placement is because she didn’t really last long thanks to Ferguson lmao. Sorry for the messy blog, but it was right for this messy queen.

Hint for 34- First character to appear on this rank down that HAD main character status. They, like almost every other person thus far, are no longer with us.

Harry Smith.

This guy is the reason we have Bea. If she didn’t try murdering him, we wouldn’t have even had this show, so for that he gets props. Now onto his actual character. Harry was a terrible father and husband. He beat his wife, and just seemed like he didn’t care for Debbie. He did prove later on he does, but that isn’t enough. The writers tried giving him a redemption arc or something, but it didn’t even close to do it for me. I’m sorry, any man that beats a woman deserves the worst in life, period. Now, I do have to say I started feeling bad for him towards the end of his time on the show (and in life, lol), but then I thought about it and went back to hating him. But once again, thank you for giving us the icon that is Bea Smith.

Hint for 35- Character who first appeared in season 5. Character who also last appeared in season 5. (Same person).

Derek Channing.

Wow, another disgusting male character! This guy is just a straight up douche bag. At first I didn’t think he was that bad, but as the show went on he got progressively worse. The way he treats his workers and inmates is cruel, and I REALLY wish someone would expose his harem. Like come on. My final straw was when he yelled at Liz when she was pushed into him, and called her names. Once again, there isn’t much else to say about this character. He is the first character on this list that is still alive!

Hint for 36- Pretty much the reason this show began.... and that’s the only positive thing I have to say about them.

Don Kaplan.

This guys sole purpose was to cause divide between Sonia and Liz, and I AM/WAS NOT HERE FOR IT. I liked him at first, he gave Liz hope. On the other hand, he gave Sonia a lot more.... and he screwed them both over. Sonia is literally a psychopath, so I was worried for Liz from the beginning. This just pushed it even further, and gave us the cliffhanger that was the season 5 finale. More on that later. There’s really not much to say about this guy, so I’m
Not going to write anymore than i have to. Sonia already took care of that :) RIP Don.

Hint for 37- A recurring character across all 5 seasons. Pretty terrible.

Rita Bennett.

Rita is the mother of Vera, and she’s a hag. She’s one of the more minor characters i included in my rank down, but she definitely played a part in the series, helping Vera become the character she is. I actually had her last at first, but I couldn’t justify not have Brayden in that spot, so here she falls.

Rita is disgusting. She was a terrible mother, and honestly a terrible person overall. That being said, she was important for the series. Without her we wouldn’t have present day Vera. She mentally destroyed Vera, telling her no one loved her, and even keeping her from making friends in her childhood.

Vera ended up having enough, and overdosed her own mother on Morphine. I supported this decision.

Hint for #38- Minor character who first appeared in season 4, but helped further 2 major characters plot arcs.

Brayden Holt.

I hate this little fucker SO MUCH. More than his mother. I had high hopes for him at first. He didn’t seem like he would listen to his mother when asked to kill Debbie, so i was pulling for him. Then he gave her a hot shot. Right there is when I lost all respect for him as a character. I can’t even appreciate him as a villain, that’s how much i hate him. Come the season 2 finale, I was SCREECHING when Bea found him. I was so ready for her to kill him, then Will stopped her. Lol Jk, he ended up with a bullet in his head, I ended up with a new favorite show. PS, sorry to my roommate for waking you up at 5 AM with my applause when i finished the episode.

(Sorry this was all over the place, I’m on lunch at work and wanted to get this started. The rest should make more sense and not just be me rambling LMAO)
