I’ve been in many MANY song competitions and always submit just the best songs and those songs just never seem to win! So I thought to myself, why don’t I host my own music competition where the right song will always win!
Now as this is my first season this will run very basic, every episode you will have a theme, and will post a song that follows that theme. The two people who submitted songs I found the weakest will have a face off and must submit a song from an artist of my choosing, and the best song will get another chance to prove themselves, and the loser will be eliminated!
I am looking for at least 12 people who think they have what it takes, but if I get more, that’s even better!
I’m super excited going into this, sadly I got a little spoiled on one person who doesn’t win, but that’s okay! Can’t wait to see who wins!
Highlights:
•I feel like the final 5 immunity challenge had a bit of a predictable winner, especially after seeing it was a puzzle. Carson’s a puzzle king, but with that being said it was still a super close challenge, even Carolyn sort of did good? She got one piece of the puzzle!
•Also this is the best reward, I fucking love spaghetti
•An Emotional Final 5 tribal council- I really thought Lauren might’ve found the idol, I mean they were all so close to finding it
•Carolyn struggling in that final 4 challenge with even just one ball- and of course first out.
•Heidi winning final 4 immunity, I am super proud of her, I knew this challenge would come down to her and Carson.
•Yam Yam helping Carson with fire (I feel it does come from a place of love and friendship- but it is also a smart thing to do, in case Carson is on the jury)
•Heidi choosing to do fire against Carson! Super bold move! He is a big competitor, but I think so were Carolyn and Yam Yam, I think part of the reason she chose to go against him is because yes it helps her résumé but her chances of winning against him are higher than the other two.
•Holy Cow THAT WAS SO FAST. I’m so happy for her! 3:02 wow!
YAM YAM WINNING! I think of the final 3 he definitely deserved it the most, also I expected Carolyn to kind of fumble the jury questioning, but I think she articulated herself really well, way more than I expected her too. I’m sad she didn’t win, but I understand it, but I do wish she got a vote.
FINAL RANKINGS:
1. Carolyn (I think Carolyn is one of my favorite people to have played in the recent seasons, I loved her realness so much, just like Maryanne)
2. Yam Yam (Super happy he won, he deserved it!)
3. Frannie (She really stuck with me as someone who could win this game in a future returnee season, and I loved her personality)
4. Carson (I think just his support for both Carolyn and Yam Yam during jury questioning was so sweet, and he really could’ve won it had he made final 3, though I don’t think it was as in the bag if Yam Yam would’ve been there as well)
5. Heidi (She really proved herself in this game, and I’ve loved her personality throughout this whole game)
6. Lauren

8. Jaime
9. Matthew (super sad he got taken out from an injury)
10. Kane (just kind of boring)
11. Danny (a bit too arrogant for my taste)
12. Brandon (same as Danny, just worst)
13. Claire (she kind of had some iconic moments)
14. Sarah (I liked her but not very memorable)
15. Josh (bored me to death)
16. Maddy (I think she had potential to do well, unfortunately… she did not)
17. Helen (super forgettable but I couldn’t help but wishing she went farther)
18. Bruce (super unfortunate med evac man, I hope he can do well in Survivor 45.)
Wow what a season! Super glad I got to watch it. Great winner!
Finally did it, I was finally able to catch up to the current episodes, just in the knick of time too!
Excited for these next few episodes, I seriously hope none of my faves get out, and I hope Danny does lol
Episode 11 Highlights:
•I feel bad for Carolyn’s meltdown over Frannie leaving, but at the same time it is Survivor
•The group meditation the group does is super nice! I know they’ve done it in the past- but it’s one thing I like about this group
•Heidi evading the suspicion from Danny, very easily might I add
•Carolyn playing with the lobster ‘skeleton’/ and just the whole water scene
•Yam Yam winning a much needed immunity! (This challenge has been my least favorite so far)
•Yeah Danny gets on my nerves, same as he gets on Carolyn’s
•Carolyn apparently taking ages to vote?
•Carolyn playing an idol on Carson. Albeit it wasn’t necessary but still!
Episode 11 Rankings:

Surprised where the votes fell, I didn’t expect Lauren and Jaime to vote Heidi at all. They went with the fake real plan.
Loved the Lauren(crossed out) Danny vote which alluded to the fake plan that was told- not sure if that was Carolyn’s intention or not but yeah.
Based on previews I am worried for Carolyn, but as we know previews aren’t entirely accurate.
Episode 12 Highlights:
•Carolyn revealing all of her idol game plan was obvi not smart but iconic all the same
•Carolyn’s performance in these challenges is always so funny
•Carolyn is such a weirdo, wanting to smell the burps.
•Kind of loved all of the strategy chats, even if it is my faves being talked about
•Lauren’s immunity win! Seemed like a super fast challenge, obviously time is edited out- but 4 people dropped in 5 mins.
•Heidi using (and wasting her idol)
Episode 12 Rankings:
1. Carolyn (her messiness adds to my love for her
2. Carson (I love how he’s Tika strong because same, I’ve never rooted for 3 members of a tribe so hard as I do right now)
3. Heidi (i wish she would’ve kept her idol, but happy she voted with majority!)
4. Yam Yam (his willingness to vote Carolyn scares me but I still like him
5. Lauren (despite her being so far down I do like everyone left. Happy for her win)
6. Jaime (again I liked everyone left so It is sad to see her go, I can’t wait til the ‘reunion’ when she finds out her idol was fake lol.
Super happy to be caught up! Cant wait for tomorrows episode, that I’ll probs watch Thursday hopefully. I really do want Carolyn to win, but I don’t think she will.
Ive almost done it! I have almost caught up to the current episode, I will probably be watching episodes 11 and 12 together and release those rankings together as well and then begin releasing rankings separately again.
Episode 9 Highlights:
•Heidi finding the hidden immunity idol
•I don’t think I expected the sit outs. I truly expected either Carolyn or Jaime to sit out, maybe even both
•And yet they were the first two to fall💀
•Frannie winning immunity, definitely building herself up to threat territory - with 2 immunity wins and having an idol played on her
•Danny is also building up is threat status, 2 near challenge wins, as well as a successful idol play
•The advantage and ‘idol’ swapping at camp just seemed messy
•A chaotic tribal. Im half and half on if I like these whispering chaotic tribals or not.
•5-3-1-1 vote. I think all the whispering had an affect which lead to this outcome
•Kane leaving with Jaime’s ‘Idol’
Episode 9 Rankings:
1. Carolyn (I loved the moments she had this episode)
2. Yam Yam (hes just a joy)
3. Heidi (loved that she found an idol!)
4. Carson (interested to see what next episode brings for him. He seems like a major person in Ep.10)
5. Frannie (her immunity win was nice!)

Episode 10 Highlights:
•Frannie winning reward super quickly. I don’t know how much longer she will last considering how much she is winning.
•Kind of fitting how im watching this episode day after Mother’s Day given the reward and who was chosen
•Letter Receiving on Survivor is always emotional for me, or any kind of family thing
•No one believing Jaime rip
•Carson winning immunity and Carolyn struggling (very close though between him and Frannie)
•Carolyn not really believing Heidi, leading to Heidi getting 2 votes
•I don’t know how the discussion with Carolyn, Frannie, Jaime, and Lauren managed to shift the target to Heidi from Danny, all it took was Lauren saying her name and they were like perfect.
Episode 10 Rankings:
1. Carolyn (rip her trust levels for the next episode, hope her upsettiness doesnt get her voted out)

3. Frannie (she came she saw she conquered, until she didn’t)

5. Carson (nice immunity win but I fear he’s becoming a little too cocky)

I’m super nervous for the next episode!! I hope one of my faves don’t go!
But im slowly catching up and I wanted to give my thoughts still in spite of me being behind.
Episode 7 Highlights:
•Frannie slaying that Immunity challenge, which yes maybe she shouldve thrown to keep Matt safe, but I fear who could’ve gone home had Brandon won instead
•Heidi finding the correct key for the advantage (which was kind of wasted but still like an iconic thing that made things a little interesting)
•Matt and Yam Yam’s ‘last’ words
•All the TEARS, this tribal was very emotional clearly
I dont know who they(Lauren,Jaime, and Brandon) were leaning towards before tribal council, however I do think that Heidi using the control a vote to force a vote upon Yam Yam, potentially swayed the Jaime and Brandon that they need to vote Matt, as he clearly did have a big support still left in the game.
Ep 7. Rankings:

3) Heidi (kind of iconic this episode)
4) Frannie (loved her immunity challenge win, and how emotional she got)
5) Carson (super invisible this episode but idc that much lol)

The 3 on the bottom of my rankings just seem kind of arrogant and cocky. Especially Brandon and Danny, I do hope one of them goes soon)

Episode 8 Highlights:
•Carolyn sort of being a mom to sick Carson
•Carolyn struggling in the immunity challenge, im sorry it was funny but glad she didnt give up, even if it was a bit too late.
Side note, id hate this part of the challenge, just seems very claustrophobic to me
• “Itchy”
•Lauren winning immunity especially after saying she’d be a weak link for whatever team she was on
•Matt and Frannie being cute at tribal lol, sorry but I hope this is a relationship/friendship that lasts
•Danny’s Idol play and Brandon going out! Super happy about this!
•Kind of do wish Carson and Yam Yam voted in majority but I still think they are in with Soka tribe, but I am also glad the idol was a successful play so yah… lol- I am surprised that it was actually Carolyn who voted Brandon and not Carson, given what we saw.
Ep. 8 Rankings:
1) Carolyn (a bit invisible at camp, but that immunity challenge was just 🍒)
2) Yam Yam (Glad he didnt spill the beans on Danny’s idol, cause I really wanted Brandon gone)
3) Frannie (super glad she stayed!)
4) Heidi (she along with Danny worked hard for the Brandon vote so I’m glad for that

6) Danny (happy his idol was used and successful, I do think he’s not gonna last much longer especially due to the previews and tbh I don’t want him too really)
