Previously: Our final 12 headed to Guatemala, where they competed in a series of grueling challenges. In the end, TurkeyLover took home 1st place, while at the other end of the spectrum, Tommy123 became the second person eliminated. 11 remain, who will be headed home tonight?
On this leg of the race, our players will be heading further south to the city of Curitiba, Brazil, also known as the most eco-friendly city on Earth. As the 1st place finisher in the last leg, TurkeyLover will be first to depart
Today, two flights from Guatemala City are heading to Curitiba, each one landing 30 minutes apart
Once landing in Curitiba, players will face a Roadblock. In this roadblock, players must head to the Curitiba Waste Management facility, where they will have to sort through piles of trash to find their next clue. This roadblock could take between 5 minutes and an hour :O
Upon completing the roadblock, players will be given their next clue, which will take them to the Botanical Gardens, where they will face their detour for this leg. This detour has two choices:
Touch and Scent - Racers will face two waves. In the first, they will smell different plants while blindfolded, and in the second, they will touch them. Racers will then remove their blindfolds, and must then identify the plants based on touch and smell alone. This can take between 5 and 60 minutes
Watch and Learn - Racers will have to memorize the correct conditions for growing various plants. Once memorized, a simulation will grow them in a sped-up version. If their plant lives to mature, they pass. If it withers and died, they must start over. This task can take between 25 and 80 minutes
Once they have completed their roadblock, racers must head to the pitstop atop "Os apartamentos verdes", however, the last player to arrive may be eliminated from the race...
