Kelley: I really loved Kelley in Second Chance...and I still will always root for her...HOWEVER...I got Stephenie Legrossa Guatemala vibes. Steph almost destroyed the good reputation she had built going into Survivor Guatemala. Also, I think Kelley will be playing a different kind of game this season. I see her as being more "dominant", and probably a little bit more of a Villain edit. I am prepared to stan her regardless of her outcome. Though I will say...out of David/Her I thought she was shown to be better integrated into the majority. What do I mean...if either David or Her is blindsided before a swap I see Chris/Lauren/Rick staying more loyal to her over David. All in all...good episode for Kelley. Showed she will play a HUGE presence in the game...HOWEVER I think we should expect a different toned edit for her, and potentially a losing FTC edit
David: Davids edit was A LOT worse than it should have been. Think about how prevalent the nerd male archetype is. Yet we really didn't see as much as we could have. My point...its almost like the editors chose to include less of him than they would have in MvGx of him. I think that's proving he is idoled out/swap fucked/or Kelley wins the war over him.
Joe: Joes edit was also a little funky. His ultimate "goal" was to be UTR and not take the reins...but what did we see him do? exactly that. Thus I don't see this being good for him. Also...his edit was less strategy based and more based on being less of a dominant force. In general...I don't see him going far either.
Aubry: My queen Aubry. Some people complained about her content in the episode. I think her content was great for her. Unlike game changers..we were actually told WHY she was trying to stay UTR. Also...we were shown what her strategy is...and we were also shown her trying to integrate herself into the tribe. HOWEVER...Right after this, we saw Gavin/Eric plot to get her out. I don't know what to think of this? She definitely said she was aware of how conscious she has to be about not standing out. The preview for next episode shows her having fun with the tribe. That is a vibe I have never gotten from her in survivor. So I have hopes for her. Also..unlike Joe and Kelley, I didn't think her content was negative. Thus I see Aubry having a similar protagonist edit when it eventually spikes.
