Survivor S37 Power Rankings (Top 18)

Last week, I truly thought Lyrsa was toast, but her power duo with Elizabeth got her another week in the rainy island of Fiji. A powerful duo was also made between Christian and Nick, as well as a six person mega-alliance between Angelina, Natalia, Kara, Dan, Alec, and Mr. Wrestler Johnny Mundo on Goliath. Lots of alliances are shaping up, but the biggest crumble was Jessica’s alliance of herself, Bi, Carl, and Davie taking a big hit, losing their 19-year old leader. A blindside that will surely set the course for the David tribe going forward. Let’s see how they rank going into the top 18!

18. Bi Nguyen- Bi may be an MMA fighter, but she seriously underperformed in the challenge. She just lost her biggest ally Jessica in an attempt to weaken Bi! If the David’s lose, I have no doubt Bi is the next to go.

17. Natalie Cole- Natalie is lucky she’s on such a dominant tribe, because her days are numbered. She’s socially unaware of how others depict her personality. She thinks people are targeting her for her age. Yikes. She’s going to need to hope Dan’s idol is exposed and her target gets smaller. If not, she’s toast if they lose.

16. Carl Boudreaux- Poor Carl. He has been going so hard in the challenges, but is getting visibly more fatigued. He also just lost the person he said reminded him of his daughter. He’s going to have a rough time until he’s either sent packing or swapped to a new tribe.

15. Mike White- I like Mike, but he’s not in a great position to win. He’s a celebrity, he’s only really aligned with Jeremy, and he’s been shown to be pretty shady in terms of looking for idols. He does, however, have a great social game, which should keep him around just a tad longer.

14. Natalia Azoqa- Natalia has tight bonds with lots of people on her tribe, but if Natalie somehow seizes power, she may end up being public enemy number one. She has vocally opposed Natalie’s work ethic. She is also visibly smaller than the other girls and guys she is aligned with. She’s a potential target.

13. Dan Rengering- I like Dan, but he’s playing way too carelessly. His idol has been exposed to Jeremy, and I have a feeling it will come back to bite him. He still has the ownership of the idol, so it’s not like he’s in danger of elimination. But he surely has a target now.

12. Alison Raybould- Poor Alison got little to none in terms of screentime. While she may not be in the best position, at least she’s not in the worst!

11. Alec Merlino- Alec has been nearly invisible, but seems to be a provider for his tribe. Not just catching fish, but dominating challenges. He should be fine.

10. Lyrsa Torres- Lyrsa knew she was on the bottom and fought for her place in the game. I’m proud of someone like Lyrsa, who is breaking the typical “weakest one out” strategy this season. Let’s hope she can hang on now that she is in the majority in numbers of her tribe.

9. Angelina Keeley- Angelina seems to be one of the most strategic people out there. But that could also make her a target down the line. Either way, she should be safe for now.

8. Kara Kay- Kara is the ring leader on her side. She has Dan, Angelina, and Natalia wrapped around her pinky. I think Kara has a good shot at going far, but she has to be careful not to become too big of a threat by being guilty by association with Dan.

7. Gabby Pascuzzi- Gabby has a core alliance that will keep her around. But her paranoia is starting to slip in, and if she lets it override her emotions and her game, she’s playing for second.

6. Nick Wilson- Pat going home was the best thing for Nick. It took the target off his back, and allowed him to make a big connection with Mason-Dixon ally Christian. Between the two, Christian clearly has more control, but Nick should be breathing a sigh of relief knowing he’s bought himself way more time on the island than he originally had.

5. Christian Hubicki- Christian seems to be the guy everyone wants to align with. He’s now got the Mason-Dixon alliance and another right pair with Gabby. He also provided one of the best lines of the episode, “in the sand?” Brilliant. He’s fine for now, until people start seeing him as the biggest threat out there (which he probably is).

4. Jeremy Crawford- Jeremy brilliantly looked through Dan’s clothes to find his idol. Sure, it may have been done before, but Jeremy did it so effortlessly. He doesn’t have the big alliance that the majority of the tribe has, but he has Mike, which will always look like a bigger target than him. And his only enemy right now seems to be Natalie. I think Jeremy is playing really well right now.

3. John Hennigan- John is in a really stellar position. First off, he’s the strongest guy on his tribe along with Alec. Second, he’s in a six person mega-alliance. Third, he’s great tv. Fourth, he even has Natalie as a backup ally. Mr. Ab-raham Lincoln is killing it right now.

2. Davie Rickenbacker- Sure, Davie was in the minority in the vote. But he’s going to have a much easier time bouncing back than Carl or Bi are. Plus, he’s the most likable guy on our screens. PLUS, he’s got an idol and hasn’t told a soul. He’s golden.

1. Elizabeth Olsen- Elizabeth made the big move this week and put the target on Jessica. While Christian and Nick were the ones who made it possible, Elizabeth was the mastermind. And she did it out of pure loyalty. She’s a great alliance member to keep around if you’re Christian, Gabby, or Nick. She’s in a great spot.

There are two big alliances in each tribe. Naturally, someone would be going home from the minority, BUT, we have Davie and Dan who both may switch things up with an idol. Who knows? Either way, I’ll keep predicting the David’s losing. If the Goliaths somehow lose, Natalie’s a goner. If it’s David, I feel like it’ll come down to Carl and Bi, and Bi seems to be the most expendable.
