Before we get into this upcoming episode, let’s talk about Chelsea. Most people consider her to be one of the worst players to ever play, but I don’t blame her one bit. The way her story arc was edited was nothing less than…well…bullshit. There is no reason someone who won two immunities, was in the majority of the vote the majority of the time, and was close allies with Domenick (unarguably the biggest edited character this season) should get zero scree time. In just 11 episodes, Chelsea got four confessionals. FOUR. And none of them showcased any sort of strategy. Even in the family visit, it took me a second to even remember who came for Chelsea because even THAT special moment was edited short. She was nearly invisible, and in her last episode, she only got one confessional. One chance to speak her mind. This has nothing to do with her as a person. She may be a boring person on camera, but she has to have SOMETHING to say, doesn’t she? I almost want Chelsea to return for a second shot because I think it was really unfair how CBS treated her edit, and wish she got credit for the game she played. She got all the way to 8th place, won 2 immunities, and was in a powerful alliance for a while (remember when she and Domenick got rid of Bradley?). Sorry for the long rant, but it annoys me how we have to hear Domenick (as much as I love him) talk about his fake idols or family for the thousandth time or Kellyn talk about Naviti strong for the millionth time, and yet Chelsea gets 4 confessionals, one of them being her unrequited love for coffee. C’mon CBS. Anyway, this is a new week, and with only 2 episodes left, this is either going to shape up to be the most wild or the most predictable finale of all time. Probably the latter.
