I love how everyone "hears" things about Mods that I don't even know about. If you haven't read it in a modblog or gotten the info from Tengaged_Moderation or moderation@tengaged.com, it's probably not true!

Thanks to blogs for reminding me! I'm really tired and don't really feel like writing anything well-thought-out, but maybe I will at a later date. Honestly can't believe I'm still here, even though I'm not really playing at the moment.
I have some stuff going on irl that's preventing me from giving this site much attention as a player. Tengaged is addictive for sure, but sometimes real life has to trump that - really, it always should. I worry about the people here who don't see that - who expend an unhealthy amount of time, energy, money and emotion on this site. I did too for a while (well minus the money part). I was lucky that it didn't impact my real life negatively, but it came very close to doing so. And it definitely impacted my anxiety level, which is something I have to carefully manage, even in the best of times.
That being said, I'm still here as a moderator and I still appreciate my friends here, even if we don't talk often enough. I'm genuinely sorry for that - please don't take it personally or think it's because I don't care. I also appreciate the good people here who aren't really my friends, but I know you're here, trying to make peace and being kind to others (or at least make us laugh!), and I hope to get to know you better someday. And I appreciate my friends who aren't here anymore; many of the good ones are gone, though I keep in touch with a lot of them in various places - AIM, Facebook, MSN, GetGlue, etc.
I'm grateful to randomize for creating a site where I've had the opportunity to meet so amazing people. And I'm even grateful for the people who I don't like. You've taught me that not everyone will like me, that I can survive being called horrible names, threatened and lots of other fun stuff. I definitely don't meet people like you irl, but if I ever do, I think I'll be a bit better prepared to tell them to go eff themselves due to some of the disgusting individuals on this site.
And, more than anything, I'm grateful to everyone who's helped me raise so much money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Recently, this cause has impacted me more directly than ever before, and I'm so proud to be associated with that organization - and proud to be associated with a site that has done so much for it. I hope that can continue!
I really didn't mean to write so much here. I probably should give some shout-outs, but I'll inevitably forget people, and I don't need the drama.
In any case, thanks to all of you for making the past three years a bit more interesting, at the very least! I hope to get more involved with games again in the future (remember when I was in the HoF? Good times!) and in the meantime I'll do my best to help things be a bit more sane on the site.
