Lukesaur ━━ All Saints ‘’Pure Shores’’ ━━ I see that you brought a different aspect about the subject but still fits the theme perfectly. I have never heard this song or All Saints before and it really got me wanting to have a good time with my lover at the beach, sippin’ martinis and relaxing (which for me, it’s one of the main essences of going to the beach). It’s like an edgy-cute teenage dream: one of those classic beach movies but with a different kick. I loved it! You certainly read the suggestions I gave to the task and served me dreamy and chilling vibes in a 2000’s twist.
spinfur ━━ SEREBRO ‘’Mi Mi Mi’’ ━━ Hello spinfur! So, you went for an upbeat/bad ass beach vibe that definitely fits the theme. I could picture myself at the Spring Breakers listening to your song, messing with my girlfriends and watching hot boys swimming. Although I don’t blame you for choosing this path, I do have to say that I think that your choice is a little bit predictable for this round’s assignment. I’ve already seen amazing suggestions made by you, you showed me artists that I didn’t even know… but unfortunately, I’m afraid that this whole choice came as generic when it comes to the semifinals.
Well, you both did a great job by bringing different visions of going to the beach and I’m super proud of you both. But, one of you surprised me the most and earned its way to the final 2… So, I’ve made my decision…

boyfriend ━━ Portishead ‘’All Mine’’ ━━ Hello Maya. I must confess that you got me: I'm a huge fan of Portishead. Their music is the definition of dark, moonlish and unusual and your song choice is all of that as well. I feel like your choice could be the soundtrack of a thriller mixed with the unsettling feeling of a David Lynch movie… the immersiveness of the beats is just amazing and hits all the marks towards the assignment. Such a classic and punctual choice.
mathboy9 ━━ Lorn ‘’Acid Rain’’ ━━ Hey mathboy! This song is not new to me but I still love it! It gives a different kind of thriller, not that classic as boyfriend’s choice, but more edgy and electronic. I could see this track in a movie like ‘Drive’ and it fits the theme perfectly. I see that you went for the kill with a newer/fresher version of the theme. The beats are also amazing and unleash the nighttime.
You both did an amazing job and I couldn’t be prouder… and this is by far, the most difficult decision I had to make this whole season...
