After winning the Pokèmon battle tournament Erika was happy, because at least a third of her alliance was safe the only issue was the rest of the "Sleeping Beauties" needed to become safe. The issue was Winona wasn't pleasing Tate & Liza since she refused to give them rides on her pokèmon after the little brats didn't give her a thank you the last time. Tate & Liza were determined to get her out. Clair had an idea that Candice needed to leave since she was friends with Tate & Liza as well as a competition threat. So, the "Sleeping Beauties" decided Candice should be the next target, but they needed to somehow manage to get enough votes when they were only 3 of 8. Clair decided she should approach Whitney who she's known for years being from Johto. Clair also knew that Whitney loved it when she could get spoiled so she made an offer Whitney couldn't refuse that they stick together all the way to the end. A "Johto" alliance until the end. Clair and Whitney were talking and somehow magically Whitney got in her head that Candice was a threat. At tribal council it ended up being a close call, but the vote worked out in the "Sleeping Beauties" alliance favor with a final vote of 4-3-1 Candice became the 11th player voted out of the game and the 4th member of the jury!
Clair was torn, because she knew that she had a Final 3 planned with the "Sleeping Beauties", Erika and Winona. Then the "Johto" bond between her and Whitney. Well, she decided to let the "Sleeping Beauties" in that her and Whitney were good friends which they figured she just didn't let them know how close. When treemail came they realized that it had to have something to do with each other deciding who will be immune. So, the girls decided they'd do whatever they could to make sure Whitney get's it to keep a target off the three of their back. The challenge was perfect, because it was the one where they answered a question and then cut the ropes of the other competitors until they were out. Erika, Clair and Winona's main goal was to knock Valerie, Tate & Liza and Roxanne and each other. That way it didn't look like they were together and it worked in the end Whitney won individual immunity! Vote someone other than Whitney out!
The bitterness had still not subsided from Roxie about Morty allegedly being a sexist pig. She went around with an attitude and the tribe was not happy. That was when the "Sleeping Beauties" thought it would be a good idea to take out an easy target. So, Winona went up to Valerie and explained how she was "scared" of Roxie's threatening persona. Valerie agreed and approached some more of the tribe. And thus the "Sleeping Beauties" were able to slyly get another castaway out of the game by a vote of 8-1 Roxie was the 10th castaway and 3rd member of the jury!
After getting Roxie out the "Sleeping Beauties" alliance realized that there was not any easy obvious targets for them to convince people to get out, so the three of them: Winona, Erika and Clair decided it was necessary that won of them needed to win immunity no matter what. It turned out to be the perfect opportunity, because the immunity challenge was a bracket style tournament of Pokèmon battles. The issue was the first round was Winona's Shiny Swellow vs Erika's Gloom which surprisingly Erika's Gloom was able to paralyze Swellow and then vine whip it until it fainted. After that Roxanne's Nosepass and Candice's Abomasnow were fighting and somehow Nosepass's combination of zap cannon and rock tomb were enough to overcome the type advantage. Next up was Liza's Lunatone's turn against Whitney's Miltank and she sent Miltank easily flying with a psychic. And in the final match of the first round was Clair's Dragonair vs Valerie's Sylveon and the fairy easily beat out the dragon-type which was to be expected. Beginning off the semi-finals the only "Sleeping Beauties" alliance member left was Erika who had to battle against Valerie. Erika was not sure how to battle a fairy-type, so she just barraged her with attacks and then finally used a leech seed and it managed to subdue Sylveon. In the second semi-final match Roxanne's Nosepass barely beat out Tate's Solrock, but in the end it was Erika vs Roxanne. Erika was determined to win and her type advantage helped her out big time. Erika won the tournament and individual immunity! Please vote someone other than Erika out.
Candice was over excited about the aspect of winning individual immunity. The voting bloc of Erika, Clair and Winona were a little nervous, because they were coming from the lesser tribe into the merge, but they did have a little something up there sleeve. Now a little known fact about Roxie is she is a major feminist, so the voting bloc approached her and got it in her head that Morty was talking in a disrespectful way. Needless to say, she went off. In the middle of the camp Roxie was trying to have a battle with Morty and he was absolutely confused why. That was when Erika's Gloom was instructed to use sleep power on the both of them to knock them out. And it worked! Once the instigators were fast asleep that was when the newly dubbed "Sleeping Beauties" alliance explained the made up situation to the rest of the tribe, which all happened to be female except Tate, that Morty was being a misogynist. Well, they carried both Roxie and Morty to the tribal council where a Chesto berry was used to awaken them. Both were a little confused, but in the end by a vote of 9-1 Morty was not only confused and tired, but the 9th castaway voted out and the 2nd member of the jury!
After sending the not-so misogynistic Morty out the door the "Sleeping Beauties" alliance was happy to know that they were at least intact for another round. Back at camp Tate was talking to Liza and he was nervous about being the only male left in the game. She stated it was different, because they were playing as a team and he shouldn't be so nervous. Tate didn't know if he trusted that so going into the next immunity challenge he was determined to win. The challenge was interesting a type of teamwork session with their Pokèmon. A simple 5K land race through a mountain to traverse in the center.The challenge turned out to be very easy for Roxanne and her Nosepass who quickly were able to navigate the cave and very hard for Winona and her Skarmory since he couldn't fly giving her last. Tate was just behind Roxanne with his Solrock not being able to pass her with his short legs in the final steps. Meaning Roxanne has immunity, so vote someone else out!
The girls of the "Kanjo" tribe were feeling truly defeated and they did not know how else to handle what was going on. Erika had gone off to meditate on her own in a grassy area when she had an idea. Knowing that Clair was most likely the most logical out of the girls on the tribe she decided to approach her about a possible alliance. Clair accepted knowing that there would have to be one more in the alliance to make a strong voting bloc. So, they talked it over and decided that the best option to join with them would have to Winona. They all agreed and made themselves a solid three. Going into the tribal council there was one person who just seemed to be to much for them to handle and she refused to take of her rollerskates, so by a vote of 3-2 Korrina was voted out as the 8th castaway, but surprisingly also the 1st jury member.
After the tribal council the "Kanjo" girls were asked to follow a map to the "Honnoh" tribe with a box and a letter. Once they got to the camp they opened it up and found out that it was a merge!
The tribes were a little shocked that they were merging now, because they felt that it was two early since the game had a late merge in the last season, but they weren't to distraught. The big thing was now the individual games would come out and in a competition where they were sent through a maze to find different totems blindfolded it was amazing when Candice managed to just inch out Clair for the win. So, vote someone out other than Candice! Also, give ideas for a merged tribe name!
With the tribe swap occurring and "Kanjo" tribe failing miserably they had to go to Tribal Council. They had kept Lt Surge, because he was supposed to be strong, but in the end he wasn't that helpful in the challenge. Plus, the fact that he decided to be lazy around camp, because he was king when the rest of the tribe in his eyes were little baby women. The girls had had enough and by a vote of 5-1 Lt. Surge became the 7th castaway voted out of the game.
No one would call the women weak of the "Kanjo" tribe, especially when they were going against more women on the other tribe plus a little boy and a weak trainer who depends on brain power then brute strength. Yet, when it came down to the physical challenge of pokèball basketball the girls still managed to give up immunity. So, please vote someone off of the "Kanjo" tribe!
Being safe was nice for Erika, but not so great for the rest of the tribe. With "Honnoh" watching from the sidelines they had to immediately vote someone off of their new tribe. It was made clear that they needed to make the new tribe as strong as possible and the two clearly feuding philosophies of brawn or brain one would need to die out. After much deliberation and brash notions made by Lt. Surge and logical ones from Blaine everyone had decided how they wanted to vote. In the end keeping the tribe physically strong for the challenges ahead. So via vote of 4-3 Blaine became the 5th castaway eliminated from the game.
Once Blaine had walked off and the tribes swapped seats it was almost immediately clear who was going to be leaving the game. With Roxanne having immunity and Crasher Wake having nothing of the sort, the young ones from the previous "Honnoh" tribe were able to convince the new young ones to get rid of the older Crasher Wake. And sure enough it worked with a vote of 3-2-2 Crasher Wake became the 6th castaway voted out of the game.
After a night back at the camp and a good rest they were all very excited to get to the next challenge. "Kanjo" was more than prepared believing they would easily win, because they kept the strong-willed in so that the challenge was easier. Yet, that did not help them and "Honnoh" tribe ended up coming with the win. So, vote someone out of "Kanjo"!
