Wow. Christine & Semhar are the first 2 ppl I predicted to be off when they released the cast. Survivor is getting predictable for me and I don't even need spoilers.
Savaii- Ozzy, Jim, Keith, Whitney & Elyse are set for life. Papa Bear will be the last of the outsiders to go. Dawn & Cochran are in hot water. Not much to say..
Upolu
Christine- Her Fran/Christina edit gave her away as the first boot
from Upolu.
Stacey- is in deep trouble. She is my pre-season pick to be 2nd off
the Upolu tribe
Mikayla- wow. she has no votes against her! I'm rooting for her cause
she did not deserve to be targeted.
Edna- She's the weakest and I think Coach will abandon her when it
comes to it
Sophie/Rick/Albert- Benefiting from Coach's alliance
Brandon- he's playing too personally. His credibility is gonna be
hurt down the road.
Coach- he is in a good spot. He got the men+sophie+edna on his side
and he has info on brandon's secret, who is voting for who, etc
he has more potential to go further than ozzy.
Finally, after 4 months, Survivor is back! Here are my thoughts on each castaway:
Savaii- nice synergy overall until their loss.
Ozzy- Much nicer approach since last time.
Papa Bear- He's aware on where he stands, but I like him.
Dawn- Holly 3.0? I think her days are numbered...
Cochran- Star of the show? He has so much more to add to the show for
him to go home so soon.
Jim- Very sneaky character. He knows that he's not gonna let Ozzy take the reins on his tribe.
Keith, Whitney, Elyse- Non entities this episode. They remind me of
Grant, Ashley and Natalie last season.
Semhar- I predicted her as the first to go from Savaii...and I was right
Upolu- The whole Coach thing at the beginning was a snag, but was able
to rally later in the episode
Coach- Redeemed himself as the episode progressed.
Albert, Sophie, Rick- Coach's followers. Very boring and pretty much
a wallpaper.
Brandon- Very awkward to watch.
Edna- If Coach's alliance stick, she'll be the last one outside the
alliance standing.
Stacy- She friggin' missed the HII clue!!! I wouldn't wanna be around
her when she's cranky
Mikayla- It'd be stupid to get rid of a strong female at this point.
Christine- Got the Fran/Christina combo edit. My pre-season pick to
be the first off from Upolu
My thoughts:
- This season is turning out to be predictable--I have Dawn, Semhar and Christine as my first three boots and they all have not been doing well.
- Cochran is good TV--he's an unapologetic fan of the show. He totally represents people like me!
With a few weeks left before the premiere, I wrote down my prediction on what season 23 would look like per episode based on my first impression on their interviews.
I tried to copy last season's format except the merge is with 10 people and there's no four people duels.

Sent to Redemption Island- Semhar due to her inability to cope with the wilderness.

Redemption Island Duel- Christine beats Semhar
Immunity Challenge Winner- Upolu
Sent to Redemption Island- Dawn when Savaii looses 2 challenges in a row and she is considered the weakest.
Episode 4
Redemption Island Duel- Christine beats Dawn
Immunity Challenge Winner- Savaii
Sent to Redemption Island- Stacey when her diva attitude finally catches up with her.
Episode 5
Redemption Island Duel- Stacey beats Christine

I'm so excited!!! I blogged about how I was planning on doing commentaries about this season every week, but Redemption Island sucks so much that I didn't even bother. I mean it started good but it just turned into the Boston Rob show.
So here's my thoughts for the finalists:
-I would not want anyone from Redemption Island winning! I don't think it's fair to be voted off and win.
- I am so over Boston Rob. If he wins, this will be the most predictable season ever. He shouldn't be bragging if he does either, since he's playing against brain dead people.
- I am so over Philip as well. I find him amusing until the rice incident. Now, he's just...menopausal. But I wouldn't mind him winning--a WTF winner for a WTF season
- Ashley/Natalie...no chance at all. I blame them for how crappy this season turned out. I hope they don't make the finals.
So there, I hope Philip or Rob wins. I'm glad this season's finally over with.
And I gotta say, I wanna do a tengaged blog on each episode 'cause its one of my favorite shows!
Zapatera- I'm just glad that people like Ralph and Dave aren't buying into Russell's crap, unlike Stephanie. I hate it when someone acts all tough in their preview clips and then bends over as someone's pet!
*I also think they have an unfair advantage at the challenge since they have 6 guys to Ometepe's 4 (Julie's looks a dude from a far)
Ometepe- Grant, Andrea, Ashley & Matt = Boston Rob's lemmings that will rule Ometepe. I'd count Natalie, but her days are numbered for being viewed as weak.
Oh Philip...where do I start? I guess I now know why he's no longer an FBI Agent (*cough, Brady*). "I'm an FBI Agent" will be the common theme this season...I hope that's not his pick up line as well. If I see a middle aged man running around in droopy *fuschia man-panties calling himself an FBI Agent, it's safe to say that he's not alliance material.
Kristina- I actually predicted her to make it to the finals. I really viewed her as smart (especially when she became the first Survivor to find an idol w/o any help in Episode 1) but that went away when she allied w/ Phil. Bad choice in alliance. Her ambition into getting Boston Rob out almost got her voted off and her closest ally eliminated. Sad to say, she may be blindsided if Ometepe if they loose again. I just can't believe she fell for Phil's interrogation.
Francesca- I got it right. I predicted her to be voted off early. She may not be a total bitch like I predicted, but she's snarky enough to raise Phil and Rob's eyebrows. I still think she'll loose the first duel.
Can't wait to see next week's episode. So far it's been a great first episode!
**I'd also like to add that Russell & Rob weren't shown as much as they normally would ;)
