I gots some questions, is it normal for a dog to bleed for 4 months of the year?????? my dog does. and i hate it, I always say "wait for puppies" but I am afraid nobody around here has a purbread male of her kind, I HATE IT! plus she sleeps in bed with me, and I HATE to kick her out, and I HATE that I have to put diapers on her all of the time, which she kicks off 2 minutes later. DAMMIT! Where are the canine tampons???
Last night I watched Showtime's New Hit, (which is one of my new favorites, LOVE IT SO MUCH) The Big C, this show has meant so much to me, because of all of it's quirkyness and all of the AMAZING characters, I fell in love with almost all of their stories, and I just gotta say, thank you and Fuck you, Fuck you showtime for only giving them a 13 episode season, and FUCK YOU writer for doing what you did last night!
so... Cathy Jameson(laura Linney) is the main protagonist, who has just been diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma, and throughout the series she has decided to live her life until death, and not tell anyone, well in the first episode her neighbor Marlene (Phyllis Sommerville) finds out she has cancer, cause... her dog stalks her (dogs do stalk cancer patients) and even tho she starts out as the "bitchy neighbor" she becomes the most endearing characters in television history, she ends up becomming Cathy's best friend on the show, and ends up becoming family with Cathy's family, her son becomes a better kid because of her, her husband becomes more mature, her brother learns how to have fun (in an unfun wasteful world) and she learns that everyone has a story,
but sadness in the story, Marlene has Alzheimer disorder, and she realizes it but does not think its that bad, but during the series you can see the family adapting and helping her with it,
LAST NIGHT! Cathy went to Canada to try some "unconventional" methods of beating "THE BIG C" by Bee Stings. where an oddball Irish (liam Neeson) was treating her. after the "treatment" Cathy and her doctor went to a local bar. In the bar there was a tarot card reader, and she told Cathy that someone important was going to die. She laughed because, she thought it was her.
MEANWHILE, her son Adam was fixing a coo-coo clock for Marlene, and Marlene had an episode, and during the episode she grabbed a revolver because she thought that Adam was intruding in her property. and the next scene with her you see Cathy's husband (oliver platt) telling her to give him the gun when she finds it and stay away from Adam (safety reasons)
TRAGEDY! in the last 2 minutes of the episode you see Marlene writing a thank you letter to Cathy, and than there is a cut (as she is narrating the letter) you see Paul(platt) painting window trim for Cathy (as throughout the episode he has became Overbearing in his helping her process) and as he is painting you hear a gunshot, (Marlene is still narrating the note) and in a one second lapse of time, one of the greatest characters in television history is lost, and it is a sad moment. one second later you see Cathy enjoying Paul's new paint job, and than as she walks in, her family is sitting there ready to tell her the news, that her best friend has died
BIG C! you are amazing, and I am glad you got picked up for a second season, but... I love your characters way too much, and Hate to see my favorite die off this early. but there is hope.
And if any people involved with the Emmy process are reading this, Please nominate Phyllis Somerville for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, She Deserves it So much, and Rest In Peace Marlene!
phew castings you were extremely stressful, and I survived (made it to final day) thank god. (and yes I believe in god and IDC if you don't) I am so happy it is over, I wish everyone in there luck, And I don't leave with any animosity, I leave with the knowledge that games can be either easy, fun, boring, or a complete mindfuck (this one was a mindfuck) but I cant say that I was bored (well, waiting for keys during the drought) I wish all players good luck, and I will hopefully play with y'all again, and if not, oh well... but I am glad its FINALLY over, this is def a game that I will remember, so thank you guys. http://www.tengaged.com/game/19691
Seriously I have not seen any keys lately in any games and the people who were playing never saw any, and... in another game there is no keys. SERIOUSLY IS THERE A GLITCH!?! I NEED AN ANSWER!
