Previously, on Survivor: After Anthony's blindside, Amanda and Dan could go align with the original Evens alliance of Shii Ann, Woo, and Christina, or align with their old alliance, Rob, Cassandra, and Mari on the other side. They were unsure of who to vote with, the old Odds wanted Woo out because of his challenge prowess, while the other side wanted Cassandra out because she became a jury threat after her idol play. Rob C threw out a vote for Christina in case two idols were played, while Shii Ann threw out a vote for Mari for the same reason. Amanda and Dan weren't sure which side to stick with.
