The original song, from Keane is rlly good too, but somehow i found this cover with just some hundread of views on youtube and i got imediatly addicted. Her voice is so cozy and the guitar changes the music a lot.
Miki Ratsula song is so calm and emotionally sung that i think that has the lyrics message a lot more present than the originial one. And this is a song that need emotions. All the purpose of the song is trying to get one last chance with someone that is not next to u anymore. Its about a love that is disappearing.
And the ironic part of this song is that first time i heard the original song, me and my friends were just kids and this become one of our favorites songs and i still dont know why. But this was our song... However i dont talk anymore to any of those friends. Time passed and we get distant. That was a great group and that i miss. Somehow i just wanted to have a minute to talk with them and be reunited. I guess it wont happen tho.
But doesnt matter, now those old friends will be carry for the rest of my life just bc of this song. Hmmm it is what it is...
And thats why this song is special to me, and this version just adds more emotions, and make it even special.
