princesspretty - I only discovered this song last week and I'm already in love. Personally, I prefer the twin version as I do feel like this song flip flops between both languages which grates me. The rap part is so much fun though! This is just such a happy and sweet song - a great first send!
Tester - Usually I'm not a fan of Ed Sheeran - I find his music to be dreary and basic - this was alright. It's definitely dreary, but in a much more tolerable and palatable way. I also feel with more listens this will grow on me.
rory17 - I've actually not listened to a Kali Uchis song yet so you are my introduction to her. I might need to give her album a listen tonight. This song was really good. This sort of music is right up my alley, RNB is probably my favourite genre. This just flowed so nicely and Kali's voice is so gentle and relaxing. Really good send!
Tommy123 - We love a bit of country from Carrie! This isn't my favourite song by her but this is still a solid song. I really like her voice in this - the song flows nicely.
NewNightmare7 - I'm not gonna dive into my views on Melanie Martinez - otherwise you'll be getting a rant. This song is one of the more tolerable songs on the album. However - the beat is jarring, it actually puts chills down my spine how goddamn awful that beat is. The lyrics are nothing special, some are questionable but fine. I just think sending Melanie Martinez is a death sentence.
LaCroix - An artist that I hate more than Melanie Martinez however, is Sam Smith. As soon as I saw that you sent Unholy, I was close to crying. It's an actual fear this song induces into my soul - I hate it with a burning passion. The Kim Petras part is annoying and the chorus is literally the worst thing I've heard in my life. I have Sam Smith blocked on Spotify for a reason because the amount of times this song randomly came on was scary. Sam Smith is awful. Bad Send.
Thnksfrthmmrs - On a more positive note, I LOVEEEEEEEE Raye and Escapism. One of my favourite songs at the moment. My 21st Century Blues is currently the AOTY. This is just pure perfection, I can't fault this song one bit, it's just incredible and releases so much dopamine into my system. Loved it.
Kindred7 - Hadn't heard of McKenna Grace before - this is cool though. It's not my favourite thing I've heard - and I'll most likely not return to it, but it was fun - and I'll have to give Bittersweet 16 a listen.
coolkat - I really like Mimi Webb! I don't listen to her a lot but whenever she comes on I do enjoy my time and bop along. This is just a really sweet song that is produced well and is easy on the ears.
mrkkkyle - Ava Max is someone I never really was fond of. I need to listen to her album - but she just never interest me. Shes also an artist where her songs age like milk (Sweet but Psycho). I like her vocals in this - nothing special, but it's nice. I don't mind this
uLoveMe - Now, I was really worried about whether or not I'll enjoy it. I'm not in LOVE - I will definitely need to listen to this more and more, I think better was sent - but I like how this was in a different direction compared to everyone else, it stands out.
tswiftlover13 - I went on a journey with this song. I started off hating it but as time went on and I listened to it more, it started to grow on me. This is just such a summer bop - I still need to listen to Miley's album. I think it is however a tad overrated - like spending all those weeks on the top of the charts I don't understand because it's not amazing, it drags a bit too - but we love a song from Miley.
oswordo3 - I'm very intrigued with this one. This made my jaw drop - I really don't know how to feel about this lyrics LMAO. I think I enjoy it - I do wish it went in more with the production - I want a bit more of a punch in the chorus especially. This is up my alley but there's something missing - something I want here thats missing.
LooseyLaduca - That first line is just so fucking terrible. Once again, I'm not gonna delve into my opinion of Melanie Martinez - I'll save that for a separate blog. 5 minutes. One thing about this album that I had a problem with is she didn't know when to end her songs. Some of her songs were tolerable but she added like 2 extra minutes which just made me annoyed with the song and lose interest immediately. The amount of time I gave her songs average scores - but after hearing the chorus for the 15th time - I dropped the scores lower and lower because it just drags for no reason. This is however one of the more tolerable songs - I think I can listen to this without wanting to stick pins in my eyes. I think her as a nymph is fucking stupid and the whole crybaby lore annoys me - but I won't delve into that here. As I said with the other person who sent Melanie - sending her is a death sentence. Out of all the artists this week - why did we get her twice and not RAYE. not happy
reallyreally - Paramore is another album i need to listen to. This was so cool and jazzy, I was expecting a more rock sound and the rock is definitely there but I'm getting a bit of jazz aswell. Oh I am listening to this again and again and again, omg. I loved this send!
