I have been in the Shops game for years both with gifting shops and competing shops and I think the ideal thing to do would be to split the 2 into two different categories, each with their own separate bidding process and shops section.
The gifting shops could have less stock, let鈥檚 say 20-25. But would allow the user to simply send the gifts to the users of their choice. Without any worries of their friends not getting the gifts they want to give them. A lot of people save for a very long time to Gift their friends and allowing users to be able to do this would be very beneficial.
Then in the competing section users would have a bit more stock (35) and could post in the ranges of 100t to 800t where they can post publicly or compete if they wanted to with the top 3 shops moving on.
Separating the 2 in this way would allow everyone to do with their shops as they wanted. And the desire for gifting shops would increase dramatically because you wouldn鈥檛 have to worry about finding gifters and all these other things that take the fun out of the process.

I agree not to mention the worry of someone stealing one of YOUR stock that you were hoping to get and worked hard for the shop.
Might also want to have the 50t$ minimum increased in the competing shops because people could just do that so they get more stock.
