For the record, we will be going around the islands in number order, so Island 1 is 1st and Island 13 is last. If a tribute moves from an island (Example: 1 to 11) then they will be mentioned again when we get to 11, but if they moved from 11 to 1 then they will be mentioned first thing the next day. Any islands that aren’t mentioned is because there’s nobody on them

*The careers walk across the rope bridge connection to the first island. Once they get across, they decide to skirt the perimeter of the island to see if anyone is about. They fail to find anybody. They re-group back where they started*
Sensa: Anything?
Mark: Nope
*They all look disappointed as they head further inland. They walk straight into a District 1 village. Mark and Summer look shocked, Summer even tearing up slightly, as they realize they are in a copy to their home town*
Summer: oh my god...
Mark: It's...just like home...
*Summer rushes up to one of the houses, pushing the door open and looking around*
Summer: It's just like my house back home...
Ethan: Alright you two, I know you're homesick, but we've got kids to kill!
*Mark laughs slightly at Ethan's comment as he and Summer return to the rest of the pack*
Sensa: Summer, Mark, you two sweep the area surrounding this village. Ethan, you look around the houses and block the back door. Manafa, you block the front door while I take a look inside. If there's anyone on this island at all, then we will find them
Aleyna: What should I do?
Sensa: Keep watch at the bridge- make sure nobody tries to escape
*Mark looks displeased at Sensa taking the lead but doesn't speak up in fear of starting an argument- something they really didn't have time for. Summer and Mark take off into the woods*
Mark: I hate that bitch
Summer: She really thinks she's in charge of us
Mark: She literally thinks she's the leader just because she got the highest training score. The others seem to worship her, and it's honestly so annoying
Summer: Yeah, Manafa's literally her little henchman, and Ethan knows he stands no chance in a fight against her
*The two of them continue talking as they sweep the area, carefully watching the trees. They come across a cave*
Summer: There was a big cave in the woods next to my house. Me and my siblings used to hang out down there after school- usually do some play fighting with tree branches
Mark: Did any of them ever get into the games?
Summer: No, I'm the first. The plan was for my brother to join me, but...
Mark: Ah
Summer: No, I'm sorry, that sounded kind of rude. I'm glad your here. He never was a fighter, not really. He viewed the games as sick, but our parents really wanted him to volunteer- they don't want him wasting his life in the factories when he could be in the games. He wouldn't have lasted a minute with this lot. Sensa would have probably killed him for not being violent enough
*Suddenly, a sponsor gift with 1 printed on floated down towards Mark and Summer. Mark reaches it first, opening it up to reveal a map. On the map, the thirteen islands, with the fourteenth in the center. Beside each island is a number*
Mark: Woah...
*He looks over each of the islands. Each one has a symbol on it. The 1st island has a ruby on it, while the second has a peacekeeper, the third a robot, and more*
Summer: It looks like every island...
Mark: Is a different district...
*They lock eyes*
Summer: Holy shit...
Mark: let's not tell the others about this
Summer: I agree!

*Ethan, Sensa, and Manafa sweep the houses one by one, not finding anyone*
Sensa: This is a waste of time!
*Sensa suddenly seems to think of something, pulling a pack of patches out of her pocket*
Sensa: If anyone is here, that'll get em!
*Sensa lights a match, letting it catch onto the wood of one of the houses. It quickly spreads, swallowing the house in flames, and quickly spreading to the next. The trio moves into the forest to avoid the smoke. Still, no tributes appear. Summer and Mark soon appear*
Summer: We saw smoke...
*The two of them freeze when they see the village on fire*
Sensa: Well, nobody's here*
Mark: We haven't-
*Sensa dismisses him*
Sensa: Let's move to the next island along. I'll go grab Aleyna
*Just as the pack starts to move off the island, something heavy smashes into the roof of a house*
Ethan: What was that?
*The group turn around in time to see a large ruby fall from the sky and smash into another house, breaking the roof through. Suddenly, hundreds of ruby's fall from the sky, hitting the careers*
Summer: WE FOUND A CAVE EARLIER!
*Summer and Mark lead the way to the cave*
Ethan: WHAT ABOUT ALEYNA?
SENSA: SHE'LL BE FINE!
*As the rubies falling begin to get bigger, the group moves faster. Summer is the first into the cave, followed by Mark, and Ethan third. Suddenly, Sensa fails to notice a log, knocking her to the floor, rubies pelting her back*
Manafa: WATCH OUT FOR-
*Suddenly, a huge Ruby the size of a person falls on Sensa's head. There is a horrible cracking noise as she stops moving*
BOOM!
Manafa: NO!
*Manafa tries to run to Sensa, but Ethan pulls him back into the cave*
Ethan: She's gone...
*A tear rolls down Manafa's cheek, but he quickly wipes it away. The careers stay in the cave until the rubies stop falling. The hovercraft quickly collected the body of Sensa as it flies away. As the careers return to the bridge, they can't see Aleyna anywhere, but from the lack of a cannon decide she's alive. The careers head across the bridge, now to island 2*
-----ISLAND 2-----
On Island 2: Chris, Kat, Byte
*Chris and Kat sit inside a house on the second island. They are taking stock of what they have*
Chris: Right, I got enough food to last a couple days
*Kat looks through a backpack she grabbed, seeming pleased to find a water bottle and a small knife. They have the curtains drawn and all the lights out, hoping not to try and attract attention is anyone’s nearby. Unbeknownst to them, the careers are moving across the bridge straight towards them*
Chris: We really hit the jackpot. I mean, we got a fucking house in the hunger games, who gets that lucky?
*Kat laughs*
Kat: We also got proper cooking equipment, and a working toilet!
*The careers arrive on the island*
Chris: I’m going to take a quick check, stay here and keep the doors locked, ok
Kat: Sure!
*Chris exits the house and makes his way into the forest*

*The careers reach Island 2, Ethan looking happy to see the familiar sight of a District 2 village*
Mark: Right, I feel like we should do something similar to last time. Manafa, you sweep the outskirts, Ethan, you guard the backdoors of the houses, Summer the front, and I’ll go inside
*He holds his throwing knifes, looking excited to finally be in charge. As the group continues forward, they notice the countless motionless Peacekeepers lining the street. Ethan takes the helmet off one of them, revealing nothing but a dummy beneath. Manafa heads into the woods, and starts sweeping the area*

*Chris walks back from the woods and in the direction of the house, however, his heart drops in dread as he sees the careers storming a house not far from his and Kat’s. He silently runs forward, praying they wouldn’t notice him, and knocks on the door. Kat looks, letting him in*
Chris: The careers are here, we got to go!
*The two of them don’t bother to gather their supplies, running out of the house as silently as they could. However, as they run, Kat steps on a stick which loudly goes snap. Mark is just coming out of the previous house as he and Ethan here it. Mark yells for Summer, and they begin running in the direction that they heard it*
Kat: Shit…
*The careers quickly begin to gain on Chris and Kat, although they have no idea who they’re running after*
Chris: Kat, look at me!
*He looks into her eyes, tightly gripping her hands*
Chris: We need to split up. If they find one of us, they’ll think it’s just the one and they’ll stop pursuing the other
*Kat nods, taking a deep breath*
Chris: Good luck, Kat
*He smiles at her, and they both run in opposite directions. Kat runs deeper into the woods, meanwhile Chris goes through the town. As Kat runs, she doesn’t notice Manafa standing behind a tree…*
Manafa: Gotcha!
*She grabs Kat and she screams. As Manafa holds Kat, she kicks him in the shin, causing him to release his grip on her. She starts running, but unknowingly straight towards the careers. She shrieks again when she sees Mark, throwing knife at the ready. She begins to run towards the village. Mark makes it to the tree-line, and tosses a knife into Kat’s leg. She goes down with a scream and Mark runs forward, pinning Kat to the ground. Summer, Ethan and Manafa all gather round, excited to see the show that’s about to unfold. Mark gets a throwing knife, cutting Kat’s tongue out just like he did Zachary, and shoving it into her mouth, silencing her desperate pleas. He then gets the knife ready, slowly carving something into Kat’s stomach. “TeamMark” is what he carves. Kat tries to scream but can’t. After Mark is finished with his human carving, he slices one of her ears off, then the other, neatly outing them in her mouth with her tongue, and then stabs the knife through her head*
BOOM!
*As Chris runs to the beach, he casts one last glance towards the island, hoping it wasn’t Kat’s cannon, before ripping his clothes off and wading into the sea, heading for Island 1*
*The careers decide to set up camp in the District 2 village. The crew on board the hovercraft is complaining about how messy this corpse will be to clean as they retrieve Kat’s body*
*What the careers, and even Chris and Kat didn’t realise, is that Byte was watching all of the events unfold from a nearby tree. She watches the careers set up camp, and slips down*
-----ISLAND 3-----
On Island 3: Nate, Aleyna
*Aleyna runs onto the island, out of breath as she just realises what she’d done in betraying the careers. She notices that on this island, there is nothing but a large factory. Curiously, she walks inside, seeing pods with various robots lined up against a wall. In the rest of the factory, tablets, computers and televisions are being produced by working machines, robots working on various different technologies. From the second floor, Nate watches Aleyna walk in, and is curious when he doesn’t see the other careers. Aleyna continues walking around the factory. She has no supplies, so is looking around at anything she could use*
Aleyna: The tributes from 3 would have a field day if they were here…Oh fuck, maybe they are
*Aleyna is suddenly on high alert, looking around at the upper floor. Nate barely manages to duck behind a desk before Aleyna sees him. Aleyna appears confident there’s nobody about, and ducks into a small office where she sets up camp*
-----ISLAND 4-----
On Island 4: NPC (We will skip island 4 because it’s only a fucking NPC)
-----ISLAND 6-----
On Island 6: Adam
*Adam looks around the forest of Island 6, noticing the train track. He decides to follow it until he finds an actual station. He excitedly runs inside, looking around at vending machines full of strange sweets. He breaks one open, looking at a wrapper that says “Hershey Bar”. He opens it, seeing a strange brown block. Suspiciously, he takes a bite, his eyes going wide when he tastes it, before quickly stuffing the rest into his mouth. He stuffs as many of these into his pockets as he can, creating a large bulge. He then looks at the train. He gets on board, looking at the luxury seats that remind him of his journey to the capitol. Suddenly, the train starts to move! Adam flops onto one of the seats, and looks out the window at the landscape- completely forgetting he’s in a murder arena. He takes a chocolate bar out, removing the wrapper and eating it was the train travels around the island. It reaches the station again. Adam suddenly realises what he can do. He jumps out of the train, hotwiring it. He jumps back in as it starts again. He already knows he’ll be safe on the train, because he’d just hotwired it to never stop*
-----ISLAND 9-----
*On Island 9: Kiara
*Kiara walks around Island 9. She remembers the bloodbath, with her knocking into Byte and the two of them helping each other up. She also remembers the argument not long after that split them up again. She wonders where Byte is now, and if she’s safe after hearing two cannons recently. She looks around, noticing she’s in a grain field. This is only something she’d seen on TV, watching her favourite show as a child, “Grain Farmers”, which was about a family in District 9 that lived off the land. The show was cancelled when one of the kids, Juniper, was reaped for the games. The show tried to continue, but the family just fell apart, and the show ended with the two parents splitting up. Kiara continues through the fields, humming a calming tune as she moves. She looks for hours, but finds nothing but grain, eventually giving up and setting up camp in a clearing*
-----ISLAND 10-----
On Island 10: Alvaro, Joshina, Mike
*Alvaro and Joshina arrive on Island 10, walking around the picturesque farm. Alvaro had never seem many of these animals before, looking rather put out by the sound of the chickens. Joshina on the other hand loved the sound, and sat on the fence for hours, just listening to the chickens running about. She guessed what they looked like, and guesses that they were little furry things. This failure of a guess makes the viewers in viewing square laugh, as Joshina asks Alvaro what they look like. Alvaro describes them to her, and her face lights up in wonder. Suddenly, the chickens panic as a big package lands in the middle of their pen. Alvaro jumps down, seeing it’s a sponsor gift. He opens it, revealing some chicken nuggets. He swallows at the cruel joke, but hands some to Joshina, not telling them what they’re made out of. Joshina and Alvaro eat their chicken nuggets while “Watching” the chickens

*Mike watches Joshina and Alvaro from the other side of the farm, his face lighting up with jealousy as he sees them eating. He considers what to do. He could try to kill one, but he’s a twelve-year-old malnourished boy with no weapons against a fifteen-year-old fairly strong boy with a sponsor gift. He also considers asking for an alliance, but seems too afraid to. He decides instead to just keep observing, thinking about what to do*
-----ISLAND 13-----
On Island 13: Drew, Ivy
*Drew and Ivy arrive in the rubble of the final island*
Ivy: There’s…nothing here…
Drew: That’s the idea
*Ivy rests against what’s still left of a wall*
Ivy: I feel it moving…
Drew: I’m not going to let any harm come to you…I promise
*Ivy hugs Drew. Drew knows they are out of view and tries to explore more of the island. Capitol viewers gasp as Drew comes so close to finding the secret room multiple times, but ultimately fails, returning to Ivy*
Drew: There’s nobody else here
*A sponsor gift flutters down. Drew smiles as he opens it, seeing a huge array of food, water, and most importantly, medical equipment. It was one expensive package, but Drew thanks whoever it was that sent it, before returning to Ivy*

*Chris starts to cry when he sees Kat in the sky. Manafa is visibly upset when Sensa appears, but nobody else has any reaction to the fallen. If nothing else, they were two opponents out of their way
