Bret & Chris went home, after having a huge head start. It really sucks, but honestly, they raced a pretty darn great race considering they were the last Survivor team left, and they had the least experience of anyone on the race, and came back from a non-elimination leg. They’re just all around great racers. So what now? Who is on top and on bottom going into the penultimate episode of the Amazing Race?
5. Leo & Jamal (Cousins; The Amazing Race)- Leo & Jamal keep getting in by the skin of their teeth, and this week was no exception, coming in 5th out of 6. I just don’t know if they’ll be able to overcome being so far behind, given the fact that they’ve made the silliest of mistakes along the way. With a U-turn coming up, there’s a possibility that they could get their comeuppance on Nicole & Vic, but Nicole & Vic are already far ahead, so I don’t see it truly paying off.
4. Colin & Christie (Life Partners; The Amazing Race)- Oddly enough, Colin & Christie weren’t phased by a double U-turn, but then got in serious danger because they lost their gnome. It’s interesting how crazy fast the game can switch up like this. I still think they’re an incredibly strong team, but this week was their worst of the season, so I have to put them as low as they are right now (though I really think they’ll be safe).
3. Becca & Floyd (Friends; The Amazing Race)- Becca & Floyd ran a pretty good leg this time around, with Floyd being a rock star and nailing the soldiers challenge by himself. This upcoming leg is the one they got eliminated on in their original season, so it would be a great redemption story to see them come back and actually win it this time around.
2. Nicole & Victor (Dating; Big Brother)-Nicole and Vic have had the most stacked against them in the most recent few legs, but they’ve been able to overcome each obstacle. The U-turn is coming up yet again, and we know there’s a possibility they might get U-turned by the Afghanimals, but I honestly think they’re a strong enough team now to overcome it. Seeing them not get on the flight they wanted, but then come back to get 2nd because other teams cut in front, it was an overall amazing underdog story for them, which is why I have to put them at the two spot right now.
1. Tyler & Korey (YouTuber Friends; The Amazing Race)- Four first places in a row is nothing shy of absolute domination on the Amazing Race, and even if they don’t continue getting first in the next few legs, it’s still a good stat going into the final leg, where I expect they’ll be.
I honestly can’t see Colin & Christie, Tyler & Korey, or Team Fun going home, and Nicole & Vic had such a GREAT leg this week, I have to just (by process of elimination) put the Afghanimals as the weakest team, though they’ve proved me wrong on more instances than one.
1. Tyler & Korey (+1)
2. Nicole & Victor (+2)
3. Becca & Floyd (+2)
4. Colin & Christie (-3)
5. Leo & Jamal (+1)
Biggest Rise: Nicole & Victor and Becca & Floyd (+2)
Biggest Drop: Colin & Christie (-3)
