Trev’s gone! Hoorah! Hooray! Celebrate good times. Okay, it’s black jacket time. So who will make it to the club and who will be cut short?
6. Heather Williams- Heather’s performances have been slowly declining, and I think she’s all in all weaker than anyone left in the competition. The separation between her and Bret…passion. Heather just doesn’t seem to have the same passion that Bret has. So between these two vets, I think Heather may be going home empty handed.
5. Bret Hauser- Bret is going to have lots of tries to earn his jacket, but looking at the field of contestants left, Bret has just had the worst track record. If you look at his recent challenge performances, he’s really dropped the ball. I think that puts him on the outside looking in, but with four girls to two guys, I feel like Bret might squeak on through.
4. Kanae Houston- Of all the newbies, I think Kanae has the biggest chance of leaving. Mia has been crushing it in challenges, and Motto has been leading the red team. But I do think Kanae will still make it through. She’s had lots of little mistakes, but has not experienced any huge blows yet. I hope she sticks around, because she really is a great chef.
3. Mia Castro- Mia has crushed the challenges, so this will probably be a walk in the park for her. But with so little people left, one bad dish could send Mia packing. I think Chef sees lots of potential in her, however, and I think she’ll be okay.
2. “Motto” Chris Motto- Motto has been the only good part of this red team, so I think he’ll also be a standout for a black jacket. But we’ve had surprises before right? Let’s hope this isn’t one of them, because I really like Motto.
1. Ariel Fox- Of all the Vets left, I have no reason to believe Ariel will not be holding a black jacket by the end of the day. I’m starting to think it’s Ariel vs. the Newbies. She’s still got a tough road ahead of her, but I think she’ll emerge as the front runner after the jackets have been dealt out.
I’d like to think Ariel and Motto are locks for Black Jackets. I wanna say Mia is also a lock, as Ramsay seems to be a big fan of her cooking. Kanae is a wildcard, as I think she’s the most vulnerable of the newbies, but has given the best screen time and confessionals this whole competition. If Chef wants three Vets, Kanae could get the boot. But I really think Bret and Heather are on the chopping block here. Although Bret is the overall weakest, I just imagine Bret getting a black jacket. I just sense it. Heather has been truly weak recently, and I think it could come to kick her out.
