I think it’s safe to say that Roe’s elimination won’t change much of the season since she really wasn’t a big part of it. However, we are seeing some strong contenders emerge, and some taking a bit of a tank. It’s quite obvious from the preview that the men are gonna need some help from the ladies (particularly Ariel), so I’m going to keep on the train that the men are going to lose someone. So here are my very subjective rankings.
9. Scotley Innis- Scotley and Trev have been battling since day one. Normally, I’d have Trev below Scotley, but since we’ve seen SO many vets sent home, I guess I’ll assume Trev outlasts Scotley.
8. Trev McGrath- Like I said, this may be the end of the Trev vs. Scotley battle. 9 times out of 10, I’d pray for Scotley to come out on top. But this is the 1 time out of 10 where I’m predicting Trev to stay in, just because I think Ramsay wants him around for better tv.
7. Bret Hauser- Bret almost got sent out with heart problems, and while I can’t say that he was 100% truthful about it all or just wanted to get out of a punishment, but I think Bret’s anxiety will eventually sink his ship. Right now, he’s probably safe with Scotley and Trev there, but he’s skating on thinner ice every day.
6. Jose DeJesus- Jose has been coasting near the top of my list, for good reason. Ramsay has been praising his food week after week, and said that this was his best cooking to date. With the competition winding down, I still think he’s safe, but since the men look like they’ll be struggling next episode, I have to put him behind the four ladies left. I also put him behind Motto because I think he is a little less vocal than Motto is. The two of them should be safe though.
5. “Motto” Chris Motto- Motto is definitely the highest red team member left. He avoids drama, does well in challenges, and works well in a team. He’s become a leader for the men, so I think he’s around for the long-term.
4. Mia Castro- My top four are all women because of how certain I am that they’ll beat the boys this next episode. But of all the women, I have Mia lowest. Mia had a pretty rough episode this past episode. It seems like her team likes her much less than Ramsay (or we, the viewers) do. I love Mia, but I do think she’s one of the more vulnerable women left because she hasn’t been performing in dinner service like she has in challenges. But her challenge prowess is why she could stick around.
3. Kanae Houston- Kanae is one of my favorites for her confessionals (as I’ve been saying from the start), but she did slip up a bit this week, and if the women somehow lose this week, her name may be thrown around. I think her mistakes are always minuscule, however, and never seem to be a real issue in the grand scheme of things. I think she’s safe.
2. Ariel Fox- Ariel was shown in the preview to go over to the red team and help the boys. I think Ariels’ ego may be growing a bit, but I don’t think she’s by any means the weakest link. She is probably the most cutthroat of the ladies remaining, and her expertise is what will probably take her to black jackets. She was in conversation to go up on the block this week, but she was by no means the most vulnerable. She’s in it to win it.
1. Heather Williams- Heather was the voice of reason for her team this week and probably the safest of the night. I do think that Heather has been perfectly safe since her clash with T, and right now, she’s probably one of the safest bets for a black jacket.
This is my most interesting ranking because A) my top four are all the same team, the blue team…and B) I think any of my top 6 can win (even Bret, who still puts up solid food, just isn’t the most focuses). I really have to believe it’s going to be Trev or Scotley, and can’t imagine anyone else going home. Right? Am I crazy? I don’t know.
