Rebekah went home, as predicted. Now, it gets a bit tougher, because some people are performing better and some people are doing worse. So let’s see.
8. Jessica Tom- Jess’ food looked despicable, and I really think she has a lot of ground to make up. Her presentations aren’t great, and her food isn’t good. The lasagna looked terrible and I’m glad I didn’t have to eat it.
7. Amy Pottinger- Poor Amy. Making dumb mistakes like last season isn’t gonna get you the win. All she had to do was put down the blindfold! JUST PUT IT DOWN! I hope she stays, but right now, she’s one of the bottom chefs.
6. Palak Patel- Yay Palak! I still think she isn’t star material, but she had a really great week and I think it saved her for a little while longer.
5. Christian Petroni- Christian is great, but a tomato salad? Really? Okay.
4. Adam Gertler- Adam nails presentation, but his food was hit or miss this week. It looked like it was difficult to eat, despite being flavorful. Adam just has to really adapt to the challenge and fine tune everything he does, and I think he’ll be just fine.
3. Harrison Bader- Harrison had his first misstep in talking for too long, but his performance was actually great and the food he made was delicious. I think Harrison deserves to be up high on the list yet again.
2. Manny Washington- I love Manny, and I think he was the star of his team. But he has to learn how to hold his ground. This is the second time he’s let people cut into his presentation time AND he gave away his tortillas for Harrison. He can’t win if he plays nice. But his burger was still good and well adapted to the challenge, and he remains one of the bolder, memorable personalities left.
1. Katie Dixon- Katie is back on top. After a horrible first week, she has just gotten better and better. She really did an amazing job and had a grasp on what the challenge was, how her food should be, and who she is emerging as a network personality. Back on top!
So we have lots of contenders. I really think anyone can win. Except for probably Jessica.
