Top 10 Tuesdays: Top 10 DWTS Season 25 Dances

imageThis season has been a blast…but after making these rankings, I realize that it’s been a battle between Jordan and Lindsey all season, and no one else really stood a chance (though I did give Frankie some love on the list). Here are the top 10 dances of the season!

Honorable Mentions: Frankie and Witney (Pirates Dance); Jordan and Lindsay (Werewolf Dance); Frankie, Witney, and Alfonso Trio; Jordan and Lindsay (Psychedelic Quickstep); Victoria and Val (Ghostly Halloween Dance); Lindsey and Mark (Pinocchio Dance)

10. Frankie and Witney (Halloween Horror Film)- This slasher/horror themed dance was frightening for sure, and really put Frankie into contender status. Chilling, spooky, and well acted, it was Frankie’s best routine of the season.

9. Lindsey and Mark (Wake Me Up)- This was Lindsey’s first awesome routine, and probably the highlight of the first few rounds of the competition. The bed choreography by Mark was excellent, and the rest of the routine was just as bright and fun and wonderful.

8. Jordan and Lindsay (Moana Dance)- The smoothness of this routine was perfect, and the breakdown was even cooler. While the entirety of Disney night as a whole was underwhelming, this was the standout.

7. Jordan and Lindsay (Redemption Charleston)- Just last night, we got an amazing redemption dance from Jordan. His charleston was freaking awesome, with amazing facial expressions and some super quick floor work that amazed me so much.

6. Lindsey and Mark (Sci-Fi Dance)- The robot dance was one of the coolest routines I’ve seen this season. While the content wasn’t crazy excessive, the subtlety was beautiful and it was definitely one of the cooler themes of the season.

5. Lindsey and Mark (Freestyle)- The beginning was fine, but once it kicked in with the full violin playing and lifts, it was utter perfection. One of Mark’s better freestyles, and that’s saying a lot for Mark, for every Mark routine is full of creativity and pizazz. This one was extra creative and Lindsey’s best all season.

4. Jordan and Lindsay (Memorable Year Dance)- Jordan’s dedication to his parents was truly stunning. His first breakthrough of perfection. It should have gotten a perfect 30, and while it may not have been the most impressive, it was the dance that probably resonated with me the most.

3. Jordan and Lindsay (Freestyle)- Jordan’s big showy ending of his dance journey was full of life and impressive choreography. A perfect way to end Jordan’s season, and the best dance of the finale. But the Jordan praise isn’t over.

2. Jordan and Lindsay (Corbin Bleu Trio)- While Jordan and Lindsay dancing in a pair is impressive, adding a third person added a whole new dynamic, and showed just how impressive of a dancer Jordan was. The charisma was at an all time high, and it just proved how robbed Corbin was of a win, and how he should return to the dance floor soon.

1. Jordan and Lindsay (Proud Mary)- This was my favorite dance of the season. High energy, incredible footwork, and amazing chemistry. Jordan took an already praised and loved dance and took it up the extra notch. Took it to new heights. Give him this mirror ball, dancing gods!
