Every camp has it's counselors, and this season, the campers will be led by four former winners!
Adelaide adeleadele (Season 4, 1st; Season 5, 2nd)
Queen Adelaide has the best average placement of any BBUK vet. After winning Fresh Meat following a fierce rivalry that split the house in two, a deft control of the nominations for the first half of the season, and a huge target on her back at the end of the season, she returned in Bad Blood… and racked up LOTS of bad blood. Despite this, she shockingly managed to go unnominated for most of the season, and deflected the target off her back with amazing strategic gameplay, despite being the only returning winner in the season. Much of her power came from falling in line with a powerful girl’s alliance that ran the game, dubbed the “Bad Bitches”, but also knowing how and when to create and shaft additional friendships and alliances.
Daphne Jameslu (Season 1, 12th; Season 2, 11th; Season 3, 7th; Season 5, 1st)
Iconically walking in Summer of Secrets after a Category 4 level meltdown, and getting in bed with the house target in an XXX-rated showmance in Kingdom of Ice, Daphne has had the most transformative journey of any winner. The Cara Maria of BBUK, she is as “vet” as it gets, which was most apparent when she suddenly pulled out all the stops to become a strategic icon that ran the game in Code Red. Daphne’s win was long overdue by the time she competed in Bad Blood, and in some ways, it was almost a cake walk for her. Going from a volatile drama-obsessed mess to a social, strategic comp beast who went under-the-radar with her social bonds, Daphne almost made it to the end of Bad Blood unnominated. She’s known for her love of girl power, as she ran the game with an all-female Bad Bitches alliance, and her ride-or-die, Aimee.
Kyle was the only rookie in Kingdom of Ice to stand a chance against the three vets in the final, and he shocked all by actually beating them! Looking back, it wasn’t that much of a shock though, as he straddled the line between shade and social tact flawlessly, knowing when to quietly sip tea, and when to throw it in somebody’s face. His “as long as it’s not me” strategy and showmance with the former winner allowed Kyle to shamelessly betray allies and ride the vets (one vet in particular) to the end. In Code Red, Kyle was immediately targeted, but lasted all the way until midseason because of his low-key, fun personality.
X FireX (Season 3, 18th; Season 5, 13th; Season 6, 1st)
One of the staple villains of BBUK, X’s premiere season was marked with power grabs and particularly dictator-style gameplay. By winning every power and relentlessly taking out legendary vets, he proved to be a threat, and was subsequently evicted early. In Bad Blood, X played a little more under-the-radar… for about a week. After that, it was same old X versus the world, with his unapologetic gameplay causing many players to gun for him, getting him another early boot! But all changed in Battle of Class, when he played one of the best strategic games of all-time, with some likening him to Tyler Crispen or BB19 Paul. Constructing an all-guys alliance of 10 dubbed “Boyritos”, X and his army of loyal soldiers managed to ACTUALLY control the entire season, without any formidable opposition. Lots of this was due to X’s manipulative, less-intense approach to the game— throughout the game many of his own allies were proud to play the game for X, instead of themselves!
