Greece 馃嚞馃嚪
Yeah... I don't think this should be too shocking. I knew this legend was going to be my winner this year the second she was announced. My hype for her was so built up and then she delivered a song on par with the greatness I was expecting. This is just absolutely breathtaking and is always the type of Eurovision song I immediately gravitate toward. From the vulnerable opening to the gradual build of the music to the catchy bridge to the explosion and power dynamics at the end of the song, it just ALL works and is all so so scrumptious. You can tell Amanda helped write this song too because she just sells it so phenomenally and I always love when you can tell an artist has an authentic reaction to their work. This is fantastic in every sense of the word and I'm so happy that the staging looks so gripping too and that Amanda is going to literally tear the house down with her great vocals. Really really hoping and optimistic that this has a shot at the win, because it'd be so deserved for this class act that Greece is sending this year.
Also laughing that Greece is my 1st again in these blogs again after they were in 2019. Let's hope Amanda doesn't fall down post show like Katerine did, but I have all the faith and more in Ms. Tenfjord.

Portugal 馃嚨馃嚬
Now THAT'S A LEGEND!!! This song has snuck up on me throughout this year and I'm so happy with how much I've grown to love and appreciate this song. There's just a relaxing and comforting atmosphere that this song creates, it almost feels as if Maro is giving you a hug when she's singing. There have been multiple moments where I've just played this on repeat to help me relax, because it just has such a great impact on me. I just love the entirety of this song, from the beautiful harmonization to the iconic clapping, it's just all 10/10 for me. Best Portuguese entry ever and I need Maro to get top 10 because this song is just so so scrumptious and means so much to me.

Austria 馃嚘馃嚬
Mhm... this is the type of banger I love. I know it's borderline generic, but I just eat stuff like this all the way up. It's insanely modern and fresh and also catchy for the entire runtime and not a single second is wasted on being extremely iconic. I never expected this type of song from Austria as well and it's still surreal to have them this high in my rankings after they've been mid to bad for so long. But of course, legends LUM!X and Pia Maria are changing their path and I just love this so so much. ALSO Pia's vocals are not *THAT* bad, they were at the pre parties, but she literally sounded fine in the rehearsal. Great? No. But it's passable. And I'm going to need this to pass to the final because Ms. Maria deserves it.
Who do we think is my favorite??? Greece or Portugal???

Albania 馃嚘馃嚤
She's an icon, she's a legend, and she IS the moment!! Honestly WHO else is doing it like Ronela?? Literally no one. I honestly never expected a song from FIK to be this legendary and place this high in my rankings, but Eurovision 2022 is the year of surprises. This song has just held up so so well and is my second most played song of this year (after Ireland of course). This is just the ethnic bop I've been waiting for Albania to serve us and I'm so happy we got one this year with a top tier performer who is going to tear down the arena. Anyone doubting Ronela's stage show and presence will be proven wrong I have all the faith in this legend that she will snap on Tuesday.
My brain clearly blanked on doing this today so I'm just going to do one more ranking today and save my top two for tomorrow :)

Serbia 馃嚪馃嚫
THAT'S A LEGEND!!! Konstrakta is truly doing it like no one else in terms of fashion, staging, iconicness and song. I just love how out of left field this is but how it all works so so well. I still don't really understand the translated lyrics to the song, but that doesn't matter because this is just so iconic. Serbia definitely made the right choice in picking this because it stands out so much and is so memorable and catchy. Can't wait to be clapping along with the legend.

Cyprus 馃嚚馃嚲
This is the best Cypriot entry since Fuego and it's not even close. This style of music is exactly what I've been hoping for Greece/Cyprus to send recently, and I'm so happy that Cyprus is hopping on this ethnic style of music. The fusion between ethnic Greek sounds with a modern pop beat as well of the mix between Greek and English is just so so scrumptious. I just love this so much and how catchy and beautiful the track is. Highkey worried for Andromache since Cyprus doesn't have much friends in their semi, so I really hope this shows up because it's so good.

Sweden 馃嚫馃嚜
Melfest is the only national selection I intently follow nowadays, and to see my favorite song win that is so unlike any other song that has ever won Melfest feels so so good!! I love a good ballad and this one is phenomenal. Cornelia just gets it all right. The vulnerability in her voice, the gradual crescendos throughout the song, the unique and memorable staging and the authenticity of the song are just some reasons I love this so much. Sweden (and Melfest in general need to skew their selection to have more authentic songs like this instead of the generic pop they've been doing, because this is top tier and is a winner contender for a reason. Just love everything about it and am so happy to be rooting for Sweden this year.

Ukraine 馃嚭馃嚘
Starting off my top 10 with one of the most powerful tracks of the year. I'm so so happy that Ukraine is still able to compete this year and that they're being represented by the act that the people voted for. This song is speaks to why Ukraine always does a phenomenal job at Eurovision. The way that they're able to blend together rap and ethnic music so seamlessly and so powerfully is just *chefs kiss* This song is just so enjoyable, and if Ukraine wins, know that it's because this is a quality act. I also almost teared up watching their rehearsal clip so intrigued to see how I'll feel toward this next week.

Spain 馃嚜馃嚫
Sorry to all the Spanish fans that this isn't higher. However, this is still hands down the best Spanish entry since 2014 (disregard my Almaia era please, I regret it). Chanel isn't serving anything new, but she's serving it in a way that is extremely exciting and top notch. Her stage presence and the stage show in general is just so phenomenal and really elevates this song to a new level. The dance break is also one of the best moments of any Eurovision song this year, and there's no denying this. This is just iconic in every sense of the word and Chanel BETTER get top 10 this year!!

Ireland 馃嚠馃嚜
This is my most played song from Eurovision this year by a pretty decent margin. I just love everything that Brooke is serving. The song is so fresh and modern and Brooke just does a great job at selling it. I really don't have much to say about this song, except that I love the beat, the lyrics, and just all of it in general. Brooke's rehearsals looked so so promising too, so I am hopeful that this has a chance to sneak in to the final because it's what this song deserves.
