Since semi-final 1 of Eurovision is in 3 days, I decided to rank all of this year's songs based on how much I like them. Will post my top 3 separately tomorrow and also my favorite national final songs!! :)

Malta
Ugh... SUCH an upgrade from last year for me and I honestly love to see it. I have loved Destiny ever since she won Junior Eurovision and I'm so happy that she got an iconic and strong bop to serve this year. Love the message of this song and Destiny obviously sells it flawlessly and with fantastic vocals. Would not be mad if Destiny became the first person to win both JESC and ESC and give Malta their first win ever because it would be so so deserved!!

Greece
Yet again, another phenomenal upgrade from the song from last year. As I've previously stated, I love anything that sounds remotely 80s inspired, and Stefania is serving exactly that. I also loved her when she was in the Kisses at JESC, so I am so happy that we'll also get to see her crush the stage this year. This is just such a current and well produced pop banger, which I always love listening and jamming to. Really hope Greece can get a good placing again with this star, because they deserve it.

Croatia
The way Croatia has literally been in my bottom 3 the past two years and then come out of NOWHERE with this BANGER??? Another part of Eurovision 2021 that I did not see coming but am so happy it happened. I'm fairly certain this is my most played song from this year, because I can just play it on repeat and never get bored or sick of it. Honestly love every aspect of this song, but that Croatian verse?!!! Ugh... love it so much. Albina is just such a star and she performs so well, I will be utterly devastated if this song doesn't qualify because it is such quality.

Russia
Okay, now *this* is my actual biggest grower of the year. This is so unlike anything Russia has ever sent to Eurovision before but I literally love everything about it. Love that it's mostly in Russian, love the message, love how this seems all over the place but it really isn't?? Not sure if that made sense, but I just love how every part of this song is so distinct and unique from the last, yet, it ALL fits together into this phenomenal song. Manizha exudes power and confidence when performing, and her backing singers are equally as iconic. May be my favorite Russian Eurovision song ever and I would LOVE if they kept taking risks like this and sending ethnic music, because I just love this.
