I think a lot of people here want an Amazing Race game. This is how I envision it:
1. There would be 10 teams of 2 people (20 players). The teams would be randomly selected to make it fair for everyone.
2. Every day, there would be 2 challenges (every 12 hours).
2.1 The first challenge would be a DETOUR. Each team would have to choose between 2 challenges. Both members of that team would then do that challenge. Computer would then rank the teams scores. Those scores would be associated with a number of minutes.
2.2 The second challenge would be a ROADBLOCK that only one member of that team can perform. Again, that score would be associated with a number of minutes. Best score gets lowest number of minutes, worst score gets highest.
3. The number of minutes from challenge 1 (DETOUR) and challenge 2 (ROADBLOCK) would then be added together to make the total of minutes for that day.
4. The team with the highest number of minutes would get eliminated (meaning they would've reached the pit stop last).
5. Everyday, one team would be randomly given a U-TURN that they can use on another team to add 30 minutes to their total. Or maybe it could work with % instead. Like add 10% of their total time. Fern111 suggested that those U-TURN could appear in the main chat just like keys and apples appear in Castings. First team who clicks on it would be able to use it on another team.
6. The position you get on a day would influence the next day. You would get a time penalty depending on your position. That time would be added to the total for the next day. Like this :
1st = 0 minute penalty for next day
2nd = 5 minutes penalty
3rd = 10 minutes penalty
4th = 15 minutes penalty
5th = 20 minutes penalty
6th = 25 minutes penalty
7th = 30 minutes penalty
8th = 35 minutes penalty
9th = 40 minutes penalty
The game lasts 7 days until 3 teams remain and then we do the final challenge between the last 3 teams on day 8.
It would cost 20T$ and would be available to light green and higher.
Payouts :
11th to 8th : Nothing
7th : 2 karma
6th : 5 karma
5th : 10 karma and 10T$
4th : 15 karma and 15T$
3rd : 20karma and 20T$
2nd : 40karma and 40T$
1st : 80 karma and 80T$
I don't know devileye1395. I've pretty much covered all aspects of the actual show. I don't see how I could incorporate Fast Forward or Speed Bump. And I wouldn't want anything that involves plussing in this game. We already have so many games that involve plussing.
What if the position you get on Day 1, influenced Day 2. And the position you get on day 2 influence Day 3. Like the team who gets 10th on Day 1 could receive a time penalty for Day 2 while the team who got 1st wouldn't be penalized at all...
Like... 1st gets 0 minute penalty
2nd gets 5 minutes
3rd gets 10 minutes... and so on until 10th... devileye1395 ?
