After my Amazing Race ideas, I've now decided to create a game concept for The Mole on Tengaged. Here it is :
NUMBER OF PLAYERS : 12
DURATION : 10 x 2 x 10 minutes = maximum time of 200 minutes (3h20min). But if everyone is active, this game could last less than 2 hours.
MAXIMUM TO WIN : 75T$ and 75karma
COST : 15T$
MINIMUM LEVEL : Light Green
1. The game is divided into 10 days. Each day lasts 20 minutes maximum.
2. Each day contains a challenge and a voting period (in that order).
3. 12 players will participate. 11 regular players and one mole.
4. There will be two prize pots : the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT and the MOLE PRIZE POT.
5. Each day, all 12 players will do a challenge.
6. The regular players will, of course, try to get the best score than can get.
7. The better your score, the more T$ you add to the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT.
8. Each player (including the mole) can add up to 1T$ each to the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT per day.
EXAMPLE :
If the challenge is DEAL OR NO DEAL, this is how it would work :
If you a score get between 0 and 1000, you add 0T$ to the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT.
1001 to 5000 = 0.1T$
5001 to 10000 = 0.2T$
10001 to 25000 = 0.3T$
25001 to 50000 = 0.4T$
50001 to 100000 = 0.5T$
100001 to 200000 = 0.6T$
200001 to 400000 = 0.7T$
400001 to 600000 = 0.8T$
600001 to 800000 = 0.9T$
800000 and more = 1T$
9. The mole, on the other hand, will try to get the lowest score possible WITHOUT LOOKING TOO SUSPICIOUS.
10. The TOTAL money lost during a day will be added to the MOLE PRIZE POT. For instance, if the players (including the mole) added a total of 10T$ out of a possible 12T$ to the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT, the balance lost of 2T$ would be added to the MOLE PRIZE POT.
11. After each challenge round, the players will then try to guess who the mole is by ranking the other players from MOST LIKELY TO BE THE MOLE to LESS LIKELY TO BE THE MOLE.
12. The mole will have the opportunity to rank the other players too. His objective will be to influence the results in his favor.
13. The person who ranks the actual mole the LOWEST on their list will be evicted. In case of a tie, algo will decide.
14. The game continues until only 3 players remain. Those 3 players include 2 regular players and the mole. They will do one last challenge to add a little more money to the prize pot. Then, they will vote to decide WHO IS THE MOLE.
15. If both regular players guess CORRECTLY, the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT will be divided equally between them.
16. If only one of the regular players guesses CORRECTLY, the entire amount of the REGULAR PLAYERS PRIZE POT will be awarded to him.
17. If neither regular players guesses CORRECTLY, the mole will win the MOLE PRIZE POT.
18. The identity of the mole will then be revealed to everyone.
N.B. For each time 1 T$ is won, 1 karma is also won proportionally.
I think the mole should just get the money he banks each day that he is not at the top of at least two lists. Him only getting T if no one guesses at the end is not very motivating

This will probably be frustrating because there will be a lot of meta-gaming going on. Since the person who gets eliminated knows who s/he put on the bottom of their list, it would be easy to just relay that information to the remaining players to figure out who the mole is.
I think it sounds awesome. However I think if the majority of the people guess correctly who the mole is then the mole should be eliminated and a new mole should be initiated.
Sparticus142 And that sounds like the game show Trapped......but i agree with you. If all guess correctly then the mole is eliminated....a new one should be inititiated.
Too complicated. The Mole requires teamwork. Challenges are all individual based. I admire the thought about the mole for once, but it would not work well like that or on this website for this matter. People are often too selfish for that type of game to work here. Even the most collaborative game, Survivor, is being singled out for not having a single winner like the "show".
I'd love to see your idea put into a group game though. It could work very well there.
I like the idea of a new game but the mole isn't one we should have. Basically, This gives premades an easy win with no effort as they can talk among themselves and if one of them is the mole, they all know it. Also, the mole would basically play the game to not get anything. By the final 3 someone would have told the others who the mole is or who it isn't. I love the mole but this would simply not work on tengaged.
I like that you are thinking of The Mole because I think it get swept under the rug a lot, but in all honesty this isnt practical for Tengaged. I mean you tired to make something work, but there are too many selfish people on Tengaged for this to work
i love the mole and I love your idea. But sadly, what about premades and joining with friends. I feel like they would tell each other who the mole is to make themselves go further.
