Season 6 has one of my favourite twists, Drag Families. This season was similar to last Generation’s results with the final 2 being a drag family as 1st and 2nd. I’m gonna give a quick rundown on the pair’s below:
Miss and Sis Tension
They were forced to lip-sync against one another and unfortunately their PPE’s scores were both pretty bad, even with Miss Tension winning two challenges.
Jasmine and Scarlet Dancer
Slayed this season. Usually the Dancer family is kinda like the “Detox” of MDR where they make it far but never win. This season was theirs for the taking.
Eyeconic and Eye Am Iconic
I was most excited for this pairing, with All Stars 1 winner with her drag daughter. Eyeconic didn’t deliver as hard as she usually does with a 4+ PPE Score but it was almost like she let her drag daughter be the star. Eye Am Iconic definitely was a robbed queen, being the clear frontrunner until La La Truce took her out which gagged me.
Cheyanne Cheddar and Susie Swiss
This was one of the only times where the drag daughter placed higher than the drag mother. They were never a frontrunner unfortunately and Susie probably should have went home on her first lip-sync to save her PPE Score.
Aquatica Dae And Eartha Dae
I was excited for this Elemental Dae drag family to show me what they’re made of. Aquatica placed 3rd in Season 5 with 0 wins so I was hoping for a redemption with her. Unfortunately they both didn’t do the best and were the first pair eliminated overall, but I stan that they have similar runs this season and even have the same PPE Score.
Bhujerba and Tiffy Taffy
Like the Cheese queens, they were almost the fillers of the season. Literally Bhujerba was just safe from Episode 1-9. There isn’t much I can say about these two besides them being the chameleons of the season.
Katelyn and Kadilyn
These queens had to lip-sync against one another as part of the twist of the season in Episode 1. With Katelyn getting 4th from Season 2 and being eliminated first I was gagged. Kadilyn definitely put up a fight but sadly didn’t survive her 3rd lip-sync against Sis Tension.
Da Da and La La Truce
These two flew under the radar for a while and were the second last pair to be split up (besides the Dancer’s) and had to lip-sync against one another. Both didn’t really do a whole lot but I was still happy to see them play in this season. Them going home one after another is kinda cute too.
Think I’ve put my two cents in. Enjoy and next season is another all-returnees season!
