Wow, what a great fucking game that was. I'm still amazed and thankful to have gotten to play that with the people I played it with. And to have made it to 2nd place, probably my hardest earned 2nd place (despite going un-nominated.. and losing to someguy LOOOL).
This was only the second time I've ever seen an enrollment and when I enrolled into the game, everything was so overwhelming and I didn't know how to do shit LOL. I played up the whole im-new-to-this side and sorta flew under the radar. I knew from the beginning that shadow and lucy would be my two rocks this game. http://cdn.tengaged.com/img_m/96347477.jpg
So immediately lucy gets arrowed, day in and day out, and I just feel like I'm gonna be a hider most of the game. Once me lucyx3jeanshadowballer000 and @gabriellaaa started to win fights against people, it was clear we weren't gonna back down, and from then on we ran the corn. The division in the game was obvious, with a lottttt of middle men and side deals. We lost allies along the way, and we watched a lot of the people against us and a lot of good competitors begin to get killed. Bradyman was a huge target to me, although we kinda had a (semi-knew/didn't care about)deal. I began to get @tastetherainbowbitch spacecadetlachie227 on my side in wanting to arrow down brady. Brady/Shadow/Lucy had a plan to arrow taste, and I stood firmly against doing that, so I orchestrated the shooting of brady at the same time as the shooting of taste, hoping I wouldn't get revealed (which I did several times of course). It was clear where I was now, but I managed to get lachie to shoot brady when he came on, he hit 2 10s a 3 and a 2 and killed him, holy shit my dude just came through LOL.
Other notable killings/game events:
-Not really a big accomplishment, but beating @xXandytraicyXx (who I had way more xp then) to sort of assure myself that while I wasn't as strong as lucy or shadow, I definately deserved my spot in this bomb ass final 3.
-Getting shadow revenge on vh1clown by taking health from him and then luring him into the cornucopia for shadow to attack and kill.
-Shadow getting thethomas to lose a challenge to him, not giving him his health back, and us arrowing him to death.
-Half-Accidently killing zeptis in deal or no deal.. lol sorry bro
Toward the end of the game I started to feel more and more like peeta, Lucy being a super close friend of mine, my katniss. http://www.tinyurl.com/abtuewt I knew I could never beat her, much like peeta was never gonna beat katniss. I felt like as the days went by, people could see me and lucy were truckin along, everybody knew we are the obvious pair of the game, and it only made me want to fight that much harder.
Shadow was like the ally you didn't have in the book, somebody you know you can always count on, and somebody you wouldn't mind seeing win. The hardest part of the game for me was losing kingb24. He was a super cool guy, who I really enjoyed talking too. Our final 4 was kickass and I wish it happened like that. Thanks for seeing things the same way I do :) But other than that, I was ecstatic that the game played out the way it did, and that I sat in the final 3 with Ms Jean and Mr Baller =]
I knew I wouldnt win the game, but its probably the only time I'll ever play, and I'm overjoyed with my placement. Big thanks to bbdamian and brandonpinzu and kentuckyy for advice/tips/information on how to play the game. Thanks for reading :)
