Welcome my final 4. This has been a long ass game, and that’s because I’m a flop host who’s bad at judging, but who cares because it’s the finale!
For the finale, you will be asked to present THREE (3) songs for the finale. You will have three categories to prove to me that you deserve to be the WINNER of Insanity’s Song Contest. The categories are as follows
Category 1: Groups to Solo. You all need to prove that you are number one. Many artists in the past have proven that they can stand out on their own and also in a group. For this category, I want you to submit a song from a solo artist that was originally part of a musical group. Please list which group they were a part of, especially if you’re going with someone more obscure.
Category 2: Teen Idol. For this category, you need to submit a song that someone released during their teen years (between 13-19). I WILL be fact checking this category. The artist you submit can be older now, but the song you submit for this category must be a song that someone released as a teenager.
Category 3: Final act. Submit ANY song that you think would be good to end with as a grand finale. I don’t care what the song is, just any song that best represents you and your time here in Insanity’s Song Contest. This will be the FINAL song I will listen to from all of you, so make it count!
The person with the best combination of songs for this final round will be declared the WINNER of Insanity’s Song Contest. Your songs will be due in 24 hours (Tuesday, January 26th 8:30PM EST). If you need an extension or have any questions, let me know. One final reminder that you can NOT use any songs that have been previously used in any other round.
