And the hottest guy in the competition is the second eliminated. Diego seems like a nice enough guy, but... that's really all there was to him. He was hot, and he would sing songs to kids in the hospital. That's all well and good, but it created a bit of a disconnect. I never actually cared for him as a person, I cared about the fact that he was hot. And while he was nice enough, just being a nice guy isn't particularly riveting enough to get people 100% behind you for it. There were plenty of nice, good-hearted people in the competition. So it wasn't like he stuck out in that regard, at least to me.
I thought he was a great rocker and I wish he would have stuck with that genre. Instead, Cee Lo and him went with some lame latin song during the playoff round and he rightfully got eliminated. (Though truth be told, he should have gone during the Knockout Rounds. Caitlin Michele was a Goddess)
Best Performance: Are You Gonna Go My Way
Caitlin Michele still should have won, but I liked this song. I couldn't find the live version without also having Caitlin's performance in there. He has a good rocker voice, though he sings with his eyes closed. >.>
Worst Performance: Bailamos
Boring, Boring, Boring, Boring, Boring. He gave a subpar, lackluster performance. No wonder this was the one that sent him hom.
Overall, he's a really nice guy, (With a great body), but... nothing special. At least not to me.
