I'll be ranking the top 20 performers of The Voice, Season 3. These placings are based completely off of my own personal preference, since pretty much everybody who made the top 20 were amazing singers. So with that being said, let's get started!
#20. Liz Davis
She has a horse face. There, I said it. The thing about Liz is... she kind of came off as a bitch. There was nothing specific that she did or said, but she had an air of superiority that I just can't seperate from her image. Her whole schtick on the show was that she was the "Country Singer", which was SO BORING. I actually like country music, but she did nothing else, and so all of her performances blend together in my mind. Blake's won the show TWICE now, and neither time with a country artist. That should tell you something. Cassadee Pope dabbled in country music, but she didn't allow the genre to utterly consume her. I can understand wanting to stay true to who you are as an artist, but you also have to take risks in order to peak America's interest. And Liz Davis never took a risk.
OH, and also, this wasn't even Liz's first stint on a reality tv program. She was on P. Diddy's Starmaker, another reality singing contest, and actually WON. She got signed onto a label, but quit in order to go to Nashville. How that'd move work out Liz? The way I look at it, she already had an opportunity and blew it.
Best Performance: Independance Day
She actually seemed sincere in this performance, and ditched her ever-present slutty outfit.
Worst Performance: Here for the party
Slutty outfit and annoying song choice, (Singing the same line over and over again gets to be a little repetitive).
