Honestly I think this year was very strong compared to recent for music but I think it lost some steam by the end of the year but a really strong first half for sure. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night

I loved the Barbie soundtrack and this was another bop off the album. This was kinda the song they pushed to be the big hit off the album. Dua Lipa is kind of one of the more it girls of POP who are younger so I think it was a smart choice. I liked the vibrant beat and the disco-esque chorus and I think it fits her discography.

Olivia Rodrgo - bad idea right?

huh hi. I will say Tik Tok made me like this song much more. The first time it came on I was like wtf is this shit. But this grew a lot on me. The chorus is fun and I think this contrasts the style of Vampire to show the album to be a bit more well-versed. She had a lot of pressure to deliver on her sophomore album and I think she had enough songs to say it was a hit.
Countdown History: This gives Olivia her 6th hit on the countdown. Will we see a Return to the top 5 this year?
