"Lucky Blue Smith"



Hello again Top 5 and Comebacks, today it's time to go big or go home. This photoshoot will determine who stays in the Top 5 and who will replace the Top 5.

Your photoshoot today is a tribute to the daring winner of the Next Top Model, Cycle 8: Back to Basics, also one of our former judges in NTM, Lucky Blue Smith. And your photoshoot today is something he'd definitely like as his brand, would be.

Lucky was known to think outside the box and not be afraid of risks. This week your photoshoot is something unconventional, something that would have you thinking. You will be modeling as an "object".

For this week's photoshoot, you will undergo a transformation and embody a unique object or element, such as a simple fork, rock, cactus, or any other unconventional entity. The goal is to challenge your creativity, and ability to channel the characteristics, appearance, properties, and essence of these extraordinary subjects.

My object is a piece of chalk. Anytime you write with a piece of chalk it always leaves that white, chalky powder on your hands.

This is my interpretation of a piece of chalk.

1. Golden Chandelier

Explication: my concept of this essay is to bring a pose and a look that marries the lighting, such as the goal of the object I chose. The pose is purposeful, showing Anja's feminine power.

2. Red Carpet

Explication: my shoot this week represents a critique of the obsession of some people to get to the red carpet, that is, that they do everything to achieve fame and be in the center of the media. In the end, they become hostages to the quest for fame and the rise to the red carpet.

Doja Cat:

I am choosing to represent a mannequin. Mannequins are stiff and lifeless with no emotion and their only purpose is to just show clothing. It's a big risk because when modeling, you don't want to be lifeless and stiff in a photo however, I feel this is the appropriate time to do it. So like a mannequin, I am stiff, and emotionless.

For this photoshoot I wanted to bring an unusual concept. I was inspired by a curtain clamp (sorry I don't know the exact name of this in English).

I just wanted to represent the aesthetics of this object as much as possible and also a meaning in this photo. Just as those curtain clamps are always hanging around waiting to be used and looking at the world through a window, we find ourselves too often stuck looking at life through a window or at what others let us see and we forget to live, we do not explore what the world has to offer. This scares us because until when are we going to live like this?

Gas fireplace

With a simple look, the gas fireplace is an object that does not go unnoticed by the houses, being a luxurious item and with an aura of elegance, it can transmit warmth and its intensity with subtlety and bring comfort. The tones and facial expression presented in the photo make this connection of subtlety. The book refers to the places where these objects meet and the type of climate that is created around the fireplaces, being a perfect environment to tell stories and bring a fanciful side to the scenario.

For this challenge I decided to model as a bird in a nest. My outfit represents the nest. I myself represent the bird. :)

Even though I might not be back....I don't want to be a quitter in the end...So I'mma give it my shot and I should feel very proud that I've gotten so far for my first time :3 :) :p

I am channeling my inner nature from the bottom my shoes being the ground and my outfit being the environment with trees and grass.
