This season is weird! May 2, 2018
I actually think it's a really good season and reminds me of classic survivor with the tribal lines still drawn. But it's mixed with new twists and gameplay, but always goes back to this same old story of Naviti v. Malolo.

Tonight's twist was actually pretty cool in my opinion, but it just reminded me of something in this game.

There is a really large gap betweent the big players and the less noticeable players

You've got:
- Domenick
- Wendell
- Kellyn
- Laurel
- And now even Donathan is starting to emerge more as a player.

Then there is a massive gap betweent those guys and the other three,

Sebastian, Chelsea, and Angela.

It seems like the only thing their entire games have evolved around is staying Naviti strong. I understand if they don't give you that much good material, but at least make it appear as if there are some middle players rather than just

HEAVY HITTERS

*GAP*

THE NOBODYS

I think this is season has been great and hasn't overdone the advantages as much as I thought it would. I feel like it's been the best season since Cambodia so definitely moving Survivor in the right direction.

(Except I'd appreciate a change in scenery, lol!)

Head to Head was Dumb! Jan 10, 2018
The whole point of the amazing race is to complete all the challenges the fastest and get to the pit stop before one other team. Not beat a team in a foot race.

I don’t really care that Goat Yoga is gone but in the true spirit of the race, they got to the Pit stop before the brothers so they deserve to stay in the race. Just my opinion.

Older Survivor Seasons Dec 23, 2017
What I liked about older survivor seasons was that not every season had a particular “theme” per say. A lot of the time the season was just based around the location and there wasn’t a million and one twists.

Look at seasons like China, Pearl Islands, or Tocantins. Those seasons had a few twists here and there to shake things up, but the whole season wasn’t a million different twists where it’s just like, “Oh, another twist, whatever...”

I mean when idols were first becoming a thing, people were flipping out when one was played because there was only one or two idols in a season. I remember jumping off my couch screaming when Amanda played her idol in Micronesia!

Also these seasons were driven more by characters that were playing the game, where now there is way too much personal junk about players which can be important at sometimes but not really.

This season while I thought there were some good moves the guy winning relied on SO many advantages to get to the end. There is no way Ben wins an older season of survivor. On other seasons there was a twist or two, but they would be shocking and crazy and people would be jumping up and down when someone found an advantage.

Now everyone is just pulling advantages out of their butts left and right and now I even find myself getting disappointed when an advantage is found because why do we need even more!

Plus they have now shot four seasons in Fiji, I always thought some of the cool parts of Survivor were when people were experiencing all these cool new cultures and locations, not just another tropical beach in Fiji.

So I really hope they do a season in a new exotic location, with all new people that aren’t necessarily divided up by a theme, and there are a couple idols with one or two advantages. So the game doesn’t completely revolve around them. This way the players can make the game exciting and unfold the way they want it to.

Survivor 35 Top 6 Ranking Dec 6, 2017
1. Chrissy

Somehow went from the bottom of the barrel to determining the vote. Honestly great position moving forward because mike and Ryan definitely trust her and she needs ben for now and ben needs her so I think they will put their little grudge aside to work together. Still kind of upset she didn’t vote out Lauren with Ben, but at least she realized she needed to stop thinking emotionally and think gameplay.

2. Mike

Somehow capitalized on Lauren’s awful gameplay but then he wanted to vote out Ben so kind of confused. I just like him as a person and he is definitely in a strong power position now. From the bottom of the Coco-Nuts with Joe to the top!

3. Ben

HUGE MOVE! So cool to watch it happen. If he can keep Chrissy, mike, and Ryan on his side then he is set to win this thing. However, there is definitely a massive target on his back and I don’t think it will go away. It all depends on how he manages Chrissy, mike, and Ryan.

4. Devon

Awful position in the game. His only hope is winning out I think. But honestly who is giving him their jury vote over Chrissy, ben, or mike?

5. Ashley

Don’t think there is much hope for Ashley unless she can convince the whole tribe to vote out ben. It could be done but my best guess is that she is the next to go. Didn’t really do much. This was the wrong time to make a move against ben and it cost her big time.

6. Ryan

So overrated! Literally hasn’t done a single thing strategically other than tell people about his idol. No shot of winning at all. I also just find him annoying. At this point his only move in the game was voting out Roark and Ali. Which was ages ago. He hasn’t had a single move or much power at all post-merge. All he was in was the alliance of 7 that turned on him. Only positive thing about him is that he will take Chrissy to the end so she can win.

Survivor 35 Top 9 Ranking Nov 24, 2017
1. Chrissy

Chrissy is starting to put together the idea that Ben is trying to get himself to win and that she doesn't have as much control as she thinks. I feel like she might either stick with the Round Table to take out Joe next or she might use Joe and Mike to finally make a move against Ben. Either way, I definitely think she is in for the long haul.

2. Devon

He's starting to realize who he can and can't trust, unfortunately I feel like he will be the likable guy that gets to maybe 5th or 6th and then taken out because everyone know he's too well-liked and will get all the jury votes. So unless he starts to make big moves or is able to keep everyone on his good side all the way to the end, I think Devon only has a few more rounds left.

3. Mike

Some people say Mike wasted his idol, others think he did it just to be safe, which I guess isn't a bad thing. I really like Mike, and think he could get to the end and rack up a few votes, but the clock is ticking. After Joe, he is the next in line to go so he needs a big move to happen soon.

4. Ashley

She is starting to become more vocal and this could either be great for her game or really bad for her. She obviously wants Joe gone ASAP, but if she is too pushy it might start to annoy the leader of the Round Table, Ben. However, I think joe will be going next so this shouldn't be much of an issue for her. Her real problem is the fact that she might be willing to follow this alliance all the way up until they vote her out. She needs to pull together those on the bottom in order to get some attention on the jury or else she really is the perfect goat.

5. JP

Well, not much going on here. Honestly, absolutely no chance of winning.

6. Ben

Ugh I just want the Round Table to turn on him and his little minion, Lauren, so bad! He has them all on lock and it just annoys me so much becuase clearly if he actually gets this alliance to final 7 there is probably an 85% chance he will win the game. So please take him out and knock him off the pedestal he has placed himself on, no matter how much he denies it!

7. Lauren

Ben's little sheep. Ben will drag her to the end and he's going to be in charge of her advantage no matter how much she acts like she knows what she is doing. So if the alliance turns on her and Ben and they can't get out Ben, it's bye-bye Lauren. It's cool that she got that advantage, but I don't think she is going to use it to help her game.

8. Joe

So annoying! Completely obnoxious and I have no clue how he thinks this strategy will win him the game. I don't know why everyone keeps saying he's the most strategic person here even though all he did was make one good idol play. The rest of his game has been total crap and the jury won't vote for him for his gameplay or his social game because both suck. He honestly has no clue what he is doing and it annoys me how cocky he is, despite the fact that he is on the bottom, probably going next, and has absolutely no power or chance of winning the game.

9. Ryan

He just annoys me because I get literally so pissed when people tell others about their idol. It gave him no benefit in the game and now Devon and Ben both know that they can't trust him and they don't want to let him go far. He thinks he is playing a good social game, but he is just setting himself up for failure with his overanalyzation of everything. I hope he goes soon so I don't have to listen to his overconfident little boy voice again!
