Survivor 37 Top 8 Rankings

Nov 30, 2018 by ziggyzaggy16
This ranking is a mix of my personal preference for the person as well as their overall gameplay, so it's kind of mixed throughout.

1. Alison

Now that she got past this vote she is an amazing spot moving forward in the game. She has strong allies in Kara and Gabby, plus an alliance of five including Christian and Mike. She is strong physically so hopefully if she was ever on the chopping block again she could save herself with immunity. In all honesty, she doesn't have much on her resume other than this vote-off, but let's see if things can change now.

2. Nick

Nick is a really smart player and I think is just bad at picking alliance members. I mean, bro, Carl? I understand the dude thought the Davids were tight, but what happened with your alliance with Christian? At this point, Nick is going to be targeted as a strategic player in the minority, but he does have an idol and seems to be very perceptive about the game. Don't think he's going anywhere soon.

3. Kara

A really level-headed Goliath strong player. I honestly see Kara as like the Goliath leader moreso than Dan was. She is much smarter and socially savvy with her ability to maneuver both sides and her willingness to work with people outside of her alliance has really opened up her game. She is definitely a contender to win in my book and now that she has a majority alliance I could see her getting to the final tribal council.

4. Christian

The thing about Christian, I don't like the guy. Yeah, he's funny at times. But when he was droning on at the immunity challenge I felt Alec's pain and I might have stepped down just so I could slap him and shut him up. He is extremely overanalytical which isn't always bad, but he is a just threat right now in the game. Gotta give the guy credit, with an idol and a move that places him in a solid majority, he is set up to go far. Only problem is that people see him as a threat and they know he has the idol, so they can work around it. If he gets to the final tribal council I bet he wins, but I don't think it's gonna be very easy for him to get there. He's not exactly a challenge beast or anything.

5. Gabby

Gabby is a smart girl and plays a smart game, but I'm worried her emotional game and need to make a big move may deter her away from the end goal. In the preview, we did see her talk about getting Christian out, which is way too early considering you just created this majority alliance and you only have a 5-3 advantage over the others. I think Gabby needs to calm down, steer the course with this majority for a week or two before she can make her big move against Christian. If she executes it well and makes it to the end, she'll have a pretty good argument to win.

6. Angelina

I have gone back and forth on Angelina this whole season. Sometimes I thought she was a great strategic player, other times I'm like WTF was that! At this point, yes, Angelina has been relegated back to the minority, but I don't think she is totally screwed. She may not have a relationship with the Goliaths anymore, but she still has ties with the New Davids. Even if she can't work herself out of this spot, she is not the first to be targeted of the minority. She will probably make it to the final episode in my opinion. Don't see her winning just because of unlikeability, but getting rice for the tribe never hurt anyone.

7. Davie

He is a smart dude, but his arrogance was overshadowed by Carl in my opinion. Now that Carl is gone I think the majority is going to see him and Nick is the new big threats, but Nick has an idol while Davie does not. Davie does have connections on the majority alliance and he has a strong social game, but it seems to be deteriorating without much hope of picking up the pieces.

8. Mike

Not winning the game. First off, everyone knows the dude's got a load of cash. Secondly, he is such a floater as he floats along with the power. He was going Goliath-strong until that fell apart, then he just weaseled his way into the New Davids and basically handed the choice of who to take out. He is not playing strategically in my opinion. Mike just wants to get as far as possible, a pretty obivous goat. I think he just wants to get to the end forgetting that he actually needs an argument to win the game. Probably a 3rd place goat.
