adamsel from your pov i can understand but here's the thing... Winning isn't defined by just who wins the particular even but also who wins long term. You fail to look at the big picture, you're stuck in a good guy bad guy role, and thankfully that's not how the real world works. There are layers.

Big picture: a percentage of votes brings attention, attention that will mean something in the future. When the day comes when the GOP goes down you're going to want a party and ideology that is fresh and makes sense. I support the libertarian agenda and i am voting based on ideology vs basis on who i hate the most
