i just read a blog post about atheists, and i partly agree, and only because there are people in this world who are ignorant and will try to shove their thoughts down other's throats (in every situation) and so yes there are ignorant atheists, as well as ignorant Christians, ignorant Jews, ignorant Muslims, ignorant Scientologits etc... and I enjoy conversating with people sometimes about religion (or lack thereof) and I enjoy when I get stimulated, (ie I am a HUGE fan of youtube's Amazing Atheist) but I myself know my faith, and I know that even though it sounds stupid, nobody truely knows. and I live by the rule of, "I would rather live my life believing in someone who may not exist, than finding out that that that person does exist and suffering the consequences of not believing"

I find this line very sad, tbh.
Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to say it like that, that you believe because you are afraid of what might happen if you don't, only goes to exemplify the pressure that religion puts on our society.
I'm entirely anti-religion. If there is a devil, religion is his doing, because it brings nothing but oppression and hatred to our world, and masks it all as "love, peace, and spirituality". I find religion in all forms to be nothing short of hypocrisy. It is an outdated means of "explaining everything", and was created in a time when humans didn't have technology to come to a more educated conclusion.
If you want to believe, then by all means believe, but do it because you ACTUALLY believe. Don't do it because you fear the repercussions. That's just my two cents.
im an atheist because i cant see "god" therefore i cant worship him and anyway any chance of me being christian has by all means gone out the window because of those "missionaries" and on wifeswap they had some shit about relationship vows about thre never gonna have a serious relationship
