getting so much hate because she WON? I don't get it! In my opinion she deserved to win cause she got along really well with people and I feel like she used all of the three types of attributes. (Beauty - used her social skills to get her where she was, Brains - she's intelligent and she had the brains, and lastly Brawn - she won 4 or 5 individual challenges) & if that last immunity challenge was a REAL immunity challenge then she and Tai could've been in the Final 2 and she would've still WON in a heartbeat. Michele really did DESERVE it guys!!! #survivor
She did have brains though lol she was the one who suggested to vote out Julia because she was left out of the Scot vote and wanted to solidify her position in a new alliance as she perfected the art of jumping from sinking ships but always remaining good relationships with them because she knew she would need their jury votes to win. Michele played a more under the radar game and let the more aggressive players get the heat while she laid low, she only needed to come forward during the final tribal council when it was needed. Aubry and Tai always got the blame over herself which was so smart.
she didn't start playing the game till she voted out her best ally Julia. even Julia asked that question and said does she really deserve it even though she only started playing at like f7? in my opinion you need to play from day 1. and that what the others were doing.
Both Aubry and Michele played great games, and to us it appeared that Aubry played the better game. However, Michele had a better social game to get her the votes. Also it could've just been editing

Everyone in some way starts playing day one, Michele started making her social ties day one that helped her get the win :)
Aubry deserved to win more than anybody. She was a better strategist than Michelle and to me that's what counts most. If it was a Tai vs Michelle finale I say Tai should win because at least he did something. He made moves and he made blindsides happen. Michelle won because of a bitter jury enough said.
I don't think it's the fact that Michele played a bad game, Michele played good... it's the fact that Aubry deserved it more. Had Aubry not been in that final three, Michele would be a great winner if it were a F2 with her and Tai. Aubry was in the final three though, and Aubry pretty much ran that game from start to finish. It was a disservice to Aubry.
I'll tell you why I think she didn't deserve to win, however this is merely my opinion. My biggest thing is she made it to day 22 without having to go to the merge. She didn't have ANY bad blood with anyone since she never had to go to tribal council before the merge, while Aubrey had to scramble and fight to stay alive in the game. And the times Michele was targeted, she lucked out by things like Joe eating to much beef and never really had to fight to save herself. I'm not saying she's a horrible winner or player, I just think she wasn't as interesting or fun to watch as some of our past winners have been. I can't really look at one move and be like OH SHE MASTERMINDED THAT, since everything was kind of handed to her by Aubrey or some of the others. I merely think she won because Scott and Jason were bitter, and I don't like that. Scott even said that she was the only person in the final two who didn't write his name down, and everyone knew who he was voting for when that said. It kind of feels like Scott couldn't handle being beaten by a 'nerdy' girl like Aubrey. But like I said, it's merely my opinion.
Michelle deserved to win and do you know why? Because she won. That sounds like a dumb statement but it is the truth. The key to winning jury votes is to understand the jurors. If Aubry was surprised that Scot and Jason were bitter jurors than that is her mistake in the game... of course they were going to be bitter jurors. Aubry should have taken Cydney or Jason to the final 3 instead of Michelle because the makeup of the jury was going to vote on more social game and bitterness. Every jury is unique and it is a skill to understand who is on the jury and how you are putting them on there. Michelle understood who was going to be on the jury and worked them accordingly (making Julia promise her her vote even though she betrayed her, sticking on Cydney's side at the final 4, being the person that Scot and Jason hated the least in the other alliance). Aubry had 2 major faults in the game which are
1) Allowing Michelle to get to the final 3
and
2) Not understanding the make up of the jury.
People are under the illusion that there is only one way to be a "good" juror. Maybe you perceive that as someone who rewards the person who "played the best game" or "made the big moves". But the thing is, the jury fluctuates, every juror is unique. If there was a juror who came out and said that they will only vote for someone who is wearing green, than them voting for a person wearing green in the FTC doesn't make them a bad juror. It means that whoever wore green was smart for figuring out the key to getting their vote, and whoever brought that person with them in the F3 but didn't wear green missed out on the most important part of Survivor which is how to win jury votes.
But technically I respect that the strategy she used to win, as it is the same strategy Sandra used to win HvV over two way more deserving players in Parvati and Russell
bowling4fun umm all of Michelles allies were eliminated early on (the girls alliance) and wasn't she the one that outed Tai in the beginning of the game cause she thought he had the idol? from what we saw all her "social ties" were gone pretty early in the game. except for Julia
Aubrey clearly didn't deserve it more, because she didn't win. Michele played a muuuch better social game, and physical game. Aubrey gave it a hell of a run and she impressed me and i love her to death but Michele deserved the win she got!
Peccadillo I'm not sure if that's really a fair comparison. We saw Sandra hustle and fight to stay. Besides winning immunities, I didn't really see much of a fighting spirit in Michele. I'm indifferent about her winning though, I just don't think it's fair to say that her and Sandra played the same game.
