Ok I'm sorry everybody commenting on this blog is a fucking mess. I can't remain friends with someone with completely different political/ethical/values from me because a large portion of the reason I'm friends in the first place is based on things we have in common.

Lemjam6 your best friend literally supports someone who is a god damn bully and inspired a fledgling attack on the capital and our rights and you're still friends with them???

ARTPOP2 piggybacking, how can you be friends with someone that has views that put down other people and still sleep at night? I've cut off family and friends with opposite views because just seeing/hearing/thinking that they may not agree with something I do/am or that of people that I care about is enough for me to not trust them as a friend or want their company.

Also maybe I'm being selfish because I live in a major city and have a ton of options for friends but also I think I'd rather be alone then stressed about other people's hot takes in my day to day.
