I, like so many other trans people, knew much of my entire life. I finally got the courage in 2017. I moved to Orlando to start me new life but got scared and moved back to South Carolina. I backed out of it, thinking it was a bad decision and pretending like it didn't happen. In 2019, I began living my life as a woman. I met with a therapist for several months and then a doctor to begin hormone replacement therapy. I have been on HRT for almost a year now.
It is PRIDE month. I want everyone to know that you should be comfortable and brave enough to be the person you are. If you aren't, that's ok, too. You do what you have to until the time is right.
