OMG, I finally did it. I haven’t made a Stars finale since 2020 where I went unnommed and came in 2nd place to a multi (it was a dark time 😂). Everyone who knows me, has played in Stars with me, or pays attention when I’m in a game knows I’m one hell of a player. In this game I was the last to be nominated and had a hand in almost every single set. Being the last person nominated is something I have done several times and I always get robbed right at the end. So, it literally fills my heart with joy to be successful for once.
Playing a game centered around popularity is hard for me. My friends on here know I have severe anxiety and it limits me a lot - irl and in a game like Stars. I have cute cats and ideas for blogs, but there’s a voice in my head yelling you’re not good enough lol. I guess you can say my inner saboteur puts in a lot of work. But I overcome that and work so hard to play a strong social and strategic game.
Socially I had a connection with so many players in this game and it allowed me to navigate effortlessly each and every round. Please reward my gameplay and vote me to win. Tanya and Zac are beautiful people and are both very deserving of your votes as well. But if this time could be my moment it would make me so genuinely happy. Tengaged I’ve somehow done it again and am the last person to be nominated in Stars. I have played my heart out & would appreciate each and every save.
With that being said I REALLY wanna make one thing clear. There is not 1 xenophobic bone in my body. I love people from every culture and walk of life. In this game my back was against the wall as right when the game started it was made public that all 6 br users tried to create a majority alliance with the 2 es users. What option does that leave everyone else? Several times in the game I tried to work with these players. But they refused to nominate anyone that was in their core. This group of br users joined as a premade and that is why they were targeted. It had nothing to do with where they are from. I don’t care if you are from the US, Brazil, Canada, or Mars - if you join with a premade I am going to try and fight against that premade.
I actually think it’s disgusting that people are using words like xenophobia as game play. They are able to have a big premade and if you go against that you are labeled as something you are not. It’s not a cute practice. There are people who are suffering real life instances of prejudice and racism. It shouldn’t be used as a tool in this game. My last Stars I worked closely with LindsayMiaw the whole time we were in that game together. And when brunotrevizani had his shop I supported several times because I really liked him and wanted to help him succeed. I love all people so if you want to come at me about game that’s fair - but don’t talk about my character in that way! I encourage all of you on Tengaged to fight back against this rhetoric and game play strategy they are using. It’s wrong, and unfair.
I really needed to get that off my chest. But apart from that if you want to reward gameplay or if you just want to show me some support please save me. Good luck Paul!!!
Br user. I wonder why. It cant be because we are in the same frat, matched our avis to show our unity, and refuse to nom each other. No it can’t be that. Oh I know it’s because we live in Brazil. That gotta be it. Even though the entire cast lives in the US, UK, Canada, and all over the world. But for some reason we are attacked hmm.
If we yell xenophobia we can keep winning every single Stars game. Look at us go 5/8 of the last Stars. Perfect strategy.
Get used to #savecarlos because this cast is about as good at Stars as 2 drumsticks in a bowl of chicken wings. The last 2 DCs I led the charge against the premade while everyone LITERALLY did nothing. I gathered who I thought could maybe vote against the premade and tried to get the people at the bottom to wake up. But at this point it’s clear they all want an easy road to F8 and I guess they’re all okay with 8th 🤷♂️.
All saves are so appreciated and I will continue to try and make big moves and infiltrate the huge premade. Stars is supposed to be fun, this is not fun. For the first time my game play can’t save me, I need your help Tengaged. Together we can show the premade that joining 8 people deep doesn’t get you a win 💅.
