Hi everybody. On tonight's blog I will be recapping the latest episode of Survivor Samoa.
Let's get started. On this week's episode there was 2 weeks worth of Survivor all packed into 1 hour with 2 people getting voted off. When they got back from tribal council, Shambo was shocked about John's departure and went to talk to Russell about it immediately. Jaison was talking to Brett and Monica and said that he thought that he made a wrong move by aligning with Russell. He also told them some crucial information about Russell when he told them that he made almost $2,000,000 from his oil company. Both of the challenges on tonight's show were immunity challenges. In the first immunity challenge it ended up coming down to Shambo and Jaison in the Bowling Tournament and in the end, Jaison was able to beat Shambo and win immunity for the 2nd time in a row. When they got back to camp, Russell made the plan to vote off Dave and told the rest of the Foa Foa members along with Shambo. When Monica heard about this she tried to talk to Russell about the possibility of voting off Shambo. In the end, Monica chose not to go through with voting off Shambo and Dave was voted off by a vote of 7-1. The next morning, Russell started thinking about voting off Brett next because he thought that he would be a threat going into the end of the game. When he told Mick about this, Mick started freaking out which made Russell start to question Mick's loyalty. At the immunity challenge, the race to the finish came down to Brett and Mick and in the end, Brett was able to foil Russell's plans when he won immunity. When they got back to camp, Russell started talking to the other Foa Foa members about voting off Monica. Monica knew that it was very possible that she could be voted off but she was going to keep trying to stay in. Mick started wondering about whether they should vote off Russell instead of Monica and ended up talking to Brett and Monica about that possibility. Monica went and told Russell what Jaison had told her and Brett about how he has a lot of money from his oil company. She told him that Natalie was also involved so he went and confronted her first. When she denied it they asked Brett about who had given them that information and he said that it was Jaison. Russell angrily confronted Jaison about it and then started thinking about the possibility of voting off Jaison. At tribal council, Russell decided to just take the immunity idol out but he didn't play but he did put it around his neck basically revealing to everyone that he has it. It's fine that he has the immunity idol but that's just arrogant. After a long argument between Monica and Russell, Monica was not able to get enough votes to stay in and she was voted off by a vote of 5-2. I'm not surprised that Monica was voted off but I really hope that Russell does not win this game even though he has played the best game because he has just been arrogant all the way through it.
