Hi everybody. On tonight's blog I will be recapping the latest episode of Survivor Samoa.
Let's get started. When they got back from tribal council, there were mixed reactions about Russell using the hidden immunity idol. Some were happy like Shambo while others were angry like Laura. The next morning, Russell starts searching for another hidden immunity idol while Shambo tries to get John on her side. At the reward challenge the contestants were split up into a 2 teams of 5. The purple team of Natalie, Russell, Brett, Dave, and Laura started off with the lead and easily kept it winning the reward challenge. When the other team got back to camp, Jaison and Mick started telling Monica that they had 2 of their tribe members on their side which made her a little suspicious. When the other get back with one of the clues, Russell starts looking for the immunity idol with Dave and Laura on his tail trying to make sure he doesn't find it. And that's when Russell's moment of triumph arrives. He finds the immunity idol again. He's starting to sound like a broken record. Monica tells Laura what Jaison and Mick told her which sets it in for Laura that she needs to win the immunity challenge. At the immunity challenge, Brett takes a good lead for most of the challenge but Mick ends up beating him in the end and Mick wins immunity. When they get back to camp, some of the Foa Foa members along with Shambo are planning on voting off Laura while every Galu member except for Shambo plans on voting off Natalie. Monica decides to lie to all of the Foa Foa members by saying that they're voting off John even though they're voting off Natalie. When Brett and Dave tell John about this, he doesn't take it very well and decides to go talk to Russell who tries to get John on his side. At tribal council, the vote ends up going into a tie between Laura and Natalie which meant everybody except Laura and Natalie had vote again for either Laura or Natalie. In the end, John ends up switching on Laura and the other Galu members and Laura is voted off by a vote of 5-3. It was a good move to vote off Laura because she is a threat in the challenges and for John it may have been a bad move because the Galu tribe may be angry at him now but it also may have been a good move because now Foa Foa has the numbers and might let him come over to their side. Hopefully Natalie can stay in the game after narrowly escaping tonight. 9 are left. Who do you think will be voted off next?
