I thought I'd clarify some of the false information. We have spoken to the user numerous times; we explained the issue in detail. Stars has no relevance to the ban; we wouldn't put our reputation in jeopardy to ban a user. The user made offensive comments; the game was in play at the time of the ban. If you were banned during Stars, you are liable, and to ensure you don't make the same comments in future.
Although I do take responsibility for delayed responses, I apologize if that was the case!

First please show me the numerous of reply's you sent me one message 2 days ago which I replied to with other questions and facts. Don't use the one you sent me seconds before your post on my blog as your "Multiple".
So my ban was for apparently when I said I was hungry Im gonna go get food. Someone suggested I get Chinese food. I said I don't eat cats and dogs. I would like clarify I DO NOT EAT CATS or DOGS or plenty of other animals including but not limited to Possum, Squirrels, Polar Bears, Monkeys, Kangaroos, Walruses, Penguins, Elephant, Clown Fish, Spiders and many more. Stating I don't eat a certain things should not be banable.
I sent him a link with this in it defending my statement... In China, it is legal to eat cats and dogs. ... More than 10 million dogs and about four million cats are killed every year across China for their meat. It is a cultural thing over there they eat what they eat I don't have any right to judge what they choose to eat but I have the right to say I don't wanna eat it.
I have the right to choose what I wanna eat saying so does not make me racist despite your determination to slander my name. I'm sure this blog will get backlash but I want all the facts on the table Kandee_ has refused to give me any communication throughout this process other then this recent post on my blog. All I ask for if your gonna ban someone to have open communication with them throughtout the process

I agree with this 1000% Jarod... Its absolutely ridiculous that u were banned for this !!! I do notttt see how this is bannable nor "racist" in ANY WAY. Thats absolutely pathetic!!!!

tiffanox3 to be fair there are 2 sides to every story before we bash lets first find out if that is indeed why the ban happened...Since Spider has made it clear he wants the case handled in public I see no objection to it being answered here directly...I'm now curious to honestly...
Tiffanox3 yes but I will gladly let Admin post a blog confirming this is why I was banned if he doesn't I have no problem screen shooting the 1 email I received and the 5 I sent out.
spiderhitler The comment was offensive. I understand a lot of things in this blog, but it just isn't relevant to the situation. It is a broad assumption, a stereotype that was offensive to some. The comment was to mock the culture, the people and what they eat. It is illegal to eat cats and dogs in western countries, so the comment wasn't acceptable. When someone suggests Chinese food, cats and dogs shouldn't come to mind.
Spiderhitler Call us bias, the rules state otherwise. We replied to your email, your mail and now on a couple of your blogs. The stretch would be that you bring irrelevant facts into the situation, rather than owning up to your comments.
tiffanox3 If you don't consider it racist, offensive language was also reasoned under the ban. It all falls into the same category of "offensive comments".

I'm gonna have to side with spiderhitler on this one in all honesty...Its been a trend I have seen lately of broad rules that need to be adjusted being used based on how individuals determine a comment is meant...Much like another recent incident where what someone was said was used out of context the same argument can be made here...Where does the line between a snarky joke and something being offensive/racist happen??? This is a case of if you ask 10 different people you will get 10 different answers of how they view the the comment...Personally much like Spider I would have taken it as a smart joke knowing like he does that the culture does indeed eat cats & dogs (wait will that get me banned for racist comments since I just literally said the same but in a context clearly of educational fact?)...Also because something is banned in PART mind you not ALL of western civilization can you say undoubtedly where he is from or where he has traveled to pick up his personal background??? For all you know he could easily be Chinese himself or have spent years there...This is one I think that while YES you can make an argument it MAY be offensive/racist a warning would have made more sense as it wasn't directly offensive/racist and was left open to interpretation...
NexusCain The rules are broad, but that being said in relation to the situation, there is no real way to specify each circumstance. There will always be a new situation, and that may be brought into question due to different perspectives. However, users are not exempt from specific rules, such as Gay users not able to use homophobic comments, etc. Should we specify that? Definitely! But users should be well aware we are not able to identify each user by their sexuality, religion, race, gender, etc. Although I can see it being a snarky joke, it is offensive, and some may take offense (which was the case).
the day that this site starts monitoring jokes and tries censoring sarcastic comments is the day where I need to consider packing ma bags tbh... If someone on this site references us British people drinking tea out of stereotypical ideologies, boy are they in for a baaaaaaaaaan!
